KTM 390 Adventure: Image Gallery

The KTM 390 Adventure was one of the most awaited motorcycles of 2019. While we were on the verge of getting tired of ogling at its spy shots, the Austrian bike maker finally unleashed the motorcycle at the EICMA show in Milan. And, we were fortunate enough to get up close with the 390 Adventure at the event and here are the detailed pictures of the ADV.

The motorcycle carries an overall styling closely similar to its elder sibling, the 790 Adventure, which is already launched in the international markets.

It is based on KTM’s popular naked, the 390 Duke, and features the same split LED headlamp set up flanked by a pair of boomerang-styled LED DRLs.

Sitting behind its short windscreen is a 5.5-inch TFT instrument console we’re already familiar with. It gets smartphone-connectivity and shows ample of information while offering different theme colours to choose from.

Considering its touring purpose, KTM has equipped the 390 ADV with 14.5-litre fuel tank, which is slightly larger than that on the 390 Duke.

This fuel tank tapers at the back and merges with a long seat which should lend the rider a comfortable riding position.

Clinging on to its steel trellis frame is the same 373.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor which powers the 390 Duke as well. It churns out 42.9bhp and 37Nm while being mated to a six-speed gearbox with slipper clutch.

The motorcycle rides on a 19-17-inch alloy wheel combination which are shod with dual-purpose tyres. These wheels are suspended by WP-sourced setup similar to its naked sibling, albeit with more adjustability options.

Braking is handled by disc brakes at both ends along with switchable dual-channel ABS with Supermoto mode. If that much safety wasn’t enough, the 390 Adventure also gets switchable traction control!
