Triumph to unveil a new motorcycle on 3 October

Triumph is reportedly planning to globally unveil a new motorcycle on 3 October. The motorcycle will debut during the launch of the company’s new visitor centre at its headquarters in Hinckley, UK.

Rumours suggest that the new motorcycle is the cruiser version of the Triumph Bonneville. A part of Triumph’s modern classic family, the new cruiser is based on the same parallel-twin architecture, though it gets the characteristic low-slung look of a traditional American cruiser. This bikes might not turn out to be very popular in Europe, although it is sure to taste success in America where cruisers enjoy a cult following. The Bobber has set the cash registers ringing in the US, outselling the Thruxton T120. As the Bobber is only available as a single-seater, the cruiser might turn out to be the bike of choice for those who prefer taking a pillion. 

As for the visitor centre, it will have two dedicated floors located a corner of the main factory building. It includes a cafe and the visitor centre that will contain bikes from the firm’s historic and current range. We expect more details to be revealed about the bike and the visitor centre as we get closer to the launch date.
