2024 Kawasaki Eliminator Review – Image Gallery

Kawasaki India expanded its middleweight line-up recently with the launch of the Eliminator. Moreover, this one is being sold in the country as a CBU. We spent a week riding the new Kawasaki Eliminator and here is what we think of it.

Kawasaki Eliminator Right Rear Three Quarter

In typical cruiser fashion, the Kawasaki Eliminator features a raked-out front end, low-slung stance, neutrally positioned footpegs, and a flat handlebar. That said, it could do better with more visual mass and have the right road presence.

The build quality is decent for the most bit, barring a few sore spots. For reference, our test bike had a loose and flimsy keyhole assembly and a similar set-up numberplate holder. Even the switch cubes look quite basic for a bike that would rather be considered premium.

Powering the Kawasaki Eliminator is a 451cc, parallel-twin engine that makes 44.7bhp and 42.6Nm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox. While cruisers are usually powered by a long-stroke thumper motor, the Eliminator is on the other end of the spectrum. It uses a quick and free-revving engine borrowed from the Ninja 500.

The setup has a likeable low-end grunt but even better mid-range performance. The torque spread makes it quite convenient to ride the Eliminator in the city and out on the highway as well.

Kawasaki Eliminator Left Front Three Quarter

The Eliminator gets a firm ride quality but the setting absorbs the bumps and doesn’t transfer the same to the rider’s back. It's only when you ride over rumblers or deep potholes that the rear suspension kicks back a little.

Kawasaki Eliminator Head Light

Kawasaki has offered LED illumination, ABS, ride modes, traction control, turn-by-turn navigation, and a fully digital instrument console.

During the BikeWale fuel efficiency test, the Kawasaki Eliminator returned 31.45kmpl. If you pair this number with its 13-litre fuel tank, then the average range should be about 400km. That is a decent figure, considering we rode the bike in the city traffic as well as out on the open highway.
