In a bid to revive their sales numbers and a much needed update for their only 125cc motorcycle, the Phoenix, TVS Motors launched a revised model of the bike. This is the 2015 iteration and is priced at Rs 51,990 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The TVS Phoenix looks fresh and attractive due to its new paint scheme and stickering. Despite the fact that the entire design of the motorcycle remains unchanged; the few tweaks the company has made set the 2015 version apart from the predecessor. The cosmetic changes include a restyled dual-tone visor, new pilot lamps, revised tank cowl and a 3D Phoenix logo on the tank. The side body panels look slimmer due to the new decals.
Though mechanically the Phoenix is powered by the same 11bhp 124.53cc engine, the company has equipped the motorcycle with additional features. These include a remote key bike locator, a digital instrument cluster, body coloured pillion grab rail, hazard lamps, contrast stitching on seats and tubeless tyres.
