TVS Motor Company has reported a seven per cent increase in their May sales. The company sold 1,97,451 units in May 2015 as compared to 2,10,843 units in the same month last year.
In the domestic market, the company's two wheeler sales increased by three per cent from 169,671 units in May 2014 to 175,533 units in May 2015. In terms of scooters sales, the company registered a growth of seven per cent where it managed to sell 54,426 units as compared to 51,010 units in May 2014. Motorcycles sales grew by eight per cent at 91,334 units as compared to 84,660 units in the month of May 2014.
The company recently introduced the facelifted version of the Phoenix 125. Currently, the company is gearing up to relaunch the Victor brand that will help the company gain additional market share. The launch of this motorcycle is expected to happen in the next few months, which will be followed by the launch of an updated Apache motorcycle.
