Disappointing mileage

I am very disappointed with the mileage. I expected around 50 kmpl, but it actually gives only 25 to 30 kmpl. The suspension is too stiff when riding solo. The engine performance is good, but it vibrates at idle. The scooter looks stylish and attractive. The projector light and DRLs are good. Service-wise, there is no improvement in mileage. The service centre blames the fuel pump and says it cannot be controlled; if it had a carburettor, they could have adjusted it for better mileage. I am not happy with the service center's response.

“Hero Scooter: A Perfect Blend of Mileage and Comfort”

I have been riding the Hero Destini 125 Xtech for the past year, and here is a detailed review of my experience in daily life:1. **Design**: The design of the scooty stands out from other scooters. It offers best-in-class comfort for both the rider and the pillion.2. **Mileage**: I have observed a mileage of over 55 km/l with decent riding. However, when I ride aggressively, it claims around 45 km/l. I found the engine to be a bit noisy in certain conditions during long rides.3. **Lighting**: The lighting of the scooty is very poor when compared to other scooters, especially during nighttime riding.4. **Service**: The service at the showroom has been average, nothing exceptional.5. **Build Quality**: The metal body started to rust after six months of use, which is disappointing.6. **Braking**: The braking performance is the worst I've encountered. Although it has a disc brake, I lack confidence when braking as it doesn't perform well compared to other brands. Additionally, there is a noticeable sound during braking. HERO needs to improve the braking system.7. **Engine Response**: The engine response is slightly delayed by about 2 seconds when overtaking, which can be frustrating.8. **Self-Start Issue**: The self-start feature stopped working two months after purchase. However, the service center addressed the issue free of charge, but it took two weeks to return the scooty.Overall, while the Hero Destini 125 Xtech has some positives, there are several areas where improvements are needed.

Low maintenance, Attractive price, Super mileage, good pickup, retro design, latest features, and a great value in the Best segment of Hero scooters. Nice-looking, I love this scooter.

It's really looking good, and the mileage was good to see it really for our budget. Thanks for that. The brakes and storage everything was good to use too. It's very comfortable to ride; I feel really good. Thanks for the good vibe and design. I loved it. We love to use and design the scooty is one of the best for lower people; it accesses it easily.

Good and comfortable scooter

I have been using Destiny 125 ZX Plus for the past 3 months. (Previously was using Hero Pleasure). I found the riding comfort as excellent, with good pickup. Good road handling, good balance while taking curve or U turn. Mileage for decent rides, you can expect 55Km plus. There is a USB mobile charging port, blue tooth connectivity (haven't used it yet) and all other frills, which are required. Good styling also.Cons. Biggest disappointment is the lack of brake lock, already rolled and fell down twice in 3 months, caused some minor damage only to scooter (The hero pleasure which I have bought 13 years before had a manual brake lock) Hero should definitely should look into this and provide brake lock for all the models from the safety point of view (it won't cost more than Rs.20 if you borrow the same technology from Hero Pleasure.). High beam light is not that great,(may be they cut down on this purposely).The LCD screen /display is hardly visible in broad day light, thought a manual speedometer would have been better. Despite these minor issues, overall I am pleased with owning this scooter, and would recommend to anyone.
