The Avenger offers the best comfort and riding experience in its price segment, making it one of the best cruiser bikes available. It delivers the pickup similar to that of a sports bike, with a speed limit of up to 140 km/h. If you're considering the Royal Enfield Bullet or Classic 350, I recommend experiencing the Avenger first; it provides an excellent riding experience at a lower price compared to its competitors. With a 220F Pulsar engine, it performs exceptionally well in terms of speed.

I am using Bajaj Avenger Cruiser 220. It's a Comfortable ride with Great pickup. I make ride for hills, forest, tea Garden, town and city side at a time but no issue with my Cruiser bike. I feel always comfortable with this. Just problem is a little bit technical issue with the fuel indicator. The fuel indicator does not always display the correct fuel level. Another thing is all ok. Thanks to Bajaj for Low Budget Cruiser like Avenger.

I have been riding Avenget 220 Cruise since 2012, and I still own it, and I like the bike very much, but I think this bike needs an upgrade in engine (bigger engine) and features, like dual disc brakes, ABS, option of tubeless tyres, etc. The bike is very comfortable and easy to handle. My front rim is damaged by rust. I visited the service center and the Bajaj spare shop many times, but the rims are not available, which is creating a problem for me and my bike.

Have an Old Model of Avenger 220, riding since August 2013. Still in good condition, comfortable for long routes as well as city commutes. No other bike is comparable to the Avenger... Not much mileage, mostly used for home to office and back. But whenever I ride it, I get a great experience with super comfort.

When I bought my Avenger 220cc in 2012, it was a very emotional day for me. I loved my Bike as it was my dream to buy it. I have a very good experience with my bike, it's a good companion. I've had many long drives with it, especially with the Led Ladakh tour, which I did solo on my bike. It didn't give me any trouble throughout my travel, whatever the road conditions were. It's a tough machine, I must say. Almost easy to handle and low maintenance, cost effective and don't give any niggles.I'll advise every rider to maintain this bike and go for the servicing timely manner. It won't let you down.

Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220, More than 3 yrs use.

There weren't many market-tried cruise bike options at the time. This bike has some issues. It doesn't have a start kick. This gives rise to a major reliability problem. I've suffered much due to this. The stock battery that came with the bike was having issues from the start. Got it replaced under warranty (after some fight with the showroom). Its road grip is pathetic. The stopping power of the rear brake also does not induce much confidence. In testing rides like those in the rain, on remote roads, and in difficult terrain (such as hilly roads), this bike can cause anxiety due to overall reliability issues.

Excellent value for money, but with some limitations

I owned an Avenger 220 Cruise from 2018-2024. Rode it for 33,000 plus kms, often 60-70kms five days of week for office commute. Bike looks good and is super-reliable with a smooth engine and uniform torque delivery. Never had it stop on me even once and never gave any starting problems even under conditions of heavy rainfall. Cruises well at 60-70 kms and can hold those speeds all day long but vibrations kick in beyond that. I had the version with drum brakes in the rear so locking of brakes and skidding were issues when riding in wet conditions. Bike is also light at 160 kgs so gusts of winds on highways tend to result in lane stability issues. Mileage was consistent throughout ownership. The cruiser-like riding position and low-slung body make riding it a pleasure with high levels of comfort but any potholes and speed-breakers result in shocks to the lower back. The seat is thin and begins to bite and make riding very uncomfortable beyond 1.5/2 hrs on long rides. My pillion rider frequently complained about this. I have upgraded to a 500 cc bike. But overall, the Avenger 220 cc cruise is an excellent value for money and a great first bike. Bike looks great, is surprisingly rugged and gobbles the miles in a variety of challenging conditions with good mileage of 35 plus kms. The bike is in its comfort zone on highways but also manoeuvres well in the city. Bajaj could have introduced higher-powered versions of the bike and I would have gladly jumped at the chance to own a 500cc version.
