Prices of the TVS XL100 have increased slightly for 2026. All variants have seen a price increase of Rs. 400, except for the Comfort i-Touchstart variant, which increases by Rs. 350.

TVS XL 100 Heavy Duty Summary
TVS XL 100 Heavy Duty is a moped bike available in 4 variants and 12 colours. The TVS XL 100 Heavy Duty is powered by 99.7cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 4.3 bhp and a torque of 6.5 Nm. With both front and rear drum brakes, TVS XL 100 Heavy Duty comes up with combined braking system of both wheels. This XL 100 Heavy Duty bike weighs 88 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 4 liters.
The TVS XL 100 Heavy Duty is a 100cc moped aimed at the rural markets which is more of a load carrier than anything else. It is positioned above the two XL 100 standard and below the Comfort variant in TVS’ Indian portfolio.
The TVS XL 100 Heavy Duty, as the name suggests, is powered by a 99.7cc, single-cylinder four-stroke engine which was updated from carbureted to fuel-injected during the BS6 transition. It produces 4.3bhp at 6,000rpm and 6.5Nm at 3,500rpm and comes mated to a single-speed gearbox. Tipping the scales at just 89kgs, the XL 100 Heavy Duty can carry a payload of up to 130kgs.
The 16-inch spoke wheels ride on conventional telescopic suspension in the front and dual hydraulic springs in the rear. It gets drum brakes for both wheels. The miniscule fuel tank can take up just four litres of fuel with reserve arriving at 1.3litres. The removable rear seat allows for better load-carrying capacity with a single rider.
While the entry-level trim of the XL 100 Heavy Duty gets a kick starter, it also comes in an i-Touchstart variant with a silent electric starter with a USB charging port as an additional feature. It demands a premium of around Rs 3,000 over the standard Heavy Duty. Moreover, there’s a slightly fancier Winner Edition available that gets a few cosmetic add-ons like beige bodywork, dual-tone seat with quilted design, chrome mirror and exhaust shield, and a metal footboard.
Being quite a niche product, the TVS XL 100 Heavy Duty doesn’t really have any direct competition in the Indian market.

Very good bike for all-round use, but not comfortable for long rides

TVS XL 100 HD is a very reliable and practical bike for everyday use. It is easy to maintain, service cost is low, and spare parts are easily available. The engine is smooth for city speeds, and the mileage is good. It is very useful for short trips, carrying light luggage, and daily commuting.However, on Indian road conditions with potholes and broken patches, ride comfort is not good for me. The suspension feels stiff, and after some time, it causes tailbone pain. Due to my height and seating posture, long rides are uncomfortable. Overall, it is an excellent utility bike, but not suitable for long-distance riding.

So recently we purchased a TVS Itouch start bike.The bike is very good and value for money.The bike had some good features with alloy wheels and Best charging point inside the bike.Best kmpl had given per 1litre of petrol, the bike had given 65-70 mileage in the range I suggest that every middle-class person buy this bike.

We purchased tvs XL 100 on date-16/01/24 from Mehsana. At first, it ran well but after 3 months it started getting bad. Then I showed it to the hundred room and they didn't give any reply for 7 days and wasted 15 days working. Then I ran it for 2 months and it didn't start again. Even the off-duty employees in the company or hundred rooms are not aware of it and are misleading people by making false advertisements. Think 100 times before anyone else takes this luna. The showroom service is very bad. Its spare parts are not available soon, after 3 months, everything has to wait for 15 days. After repairing once it does not get a solution again after a couple of months the problem has occurred.

No standard of material and material cost is too high

Had a poor experience. Because there is no standard of materials. And while replacing the material's cost also too high. And there is no proper fitting of rim's. Always puncture of vehicle.But riding is good for every age person.And looking also good. Have to change the quality of material for standard of materials.

I was purchased this tvs xl 100 bs6 hd model in naldurg nobel tvs showroom (osmanabad), it seems that they have not given usb port in this bike.Showroom owner say's you have to do it on your own for usb port.I was shown in tvs official website, there was usb port is given initially but the showroom has not given me this facility.
