Tvs xl 100 is a good mileage bike

1. Buying experience :tvs xl 100 cost around 44000/- on net payment 2.Riding experience :good when speed is below 50 on and above bike making anonymous sound 3:looks good but it should not grab your attention on bike. Performance is good 4. Servicing is the worst thing which i have experience all-time 5.Pros:A). Mileage is good around 60kmpl B).Bike is very useful for >50 aged persons Cons: A). No self start B).No attractive design C).Bike is making anonymous sound when speed is above 50D). Service is very bad.

The buying process in my opinion is simple and performance is good according to our Indian conditions suitable to ride on any road mileage is good and very simple to maintain. But the cost is little more cost of the service is not more than1000 and looks good and attractive. Mainly build quality is good.

Comfort at a price with limitations

I own this Tvs XL100 Comfort Edition bike for past 2 yrs.. My buying experience was pathetic I bought in a rural sub dealer.. Riding experience is pretty good at speeds 40 below.. Starts vibration above it.. Max speed is 62..I ride weekly 280 kms.. I ride at 50 speed constantly and sometimes to 60..I get a mileage of 65..if I ride at 40 and below.. You get a mileage of 75+..i got 82 during 1st year when I rode below 40 speed. Now I service the vehicle 3 months once.. Low service cost.. Just changed oil 4 times in 2 yrs.. Low maintenance vehicle. Pros: Good mileage, seating a bit good, looks attractive than previous moped, smooth start & stop, Dual braking is good, no need oil with petrol, usb charging. Cons: fuel capacity just 4 liters, same old light as previous mopeds, same instrument console, engine vibrations at 40 + speeds. Mileage drops drastically above 40 speed.

Tips for other riders
Change oil at every 3000 to 4000kms , ride at proper tyre pressure for good mileage, use petrol same Hp only or indian oil or Nayara etc..
