- iPraise+ carries more features than the Praise Pro
Okinawa Autotech has announced the launch of the updated Praise Pro and iPraise+ electric scooters in India. These electric scooters now come with a 40mm down frame that is aimed to deliver better foot space and thus offer improved ergonomics for a comfortable ride.
The company further added that the deliveries of the new Praise Pro and iPraise+ with the AIS-156 Amendment Three battery pack and eight new attractive colours have already commenced. The bookings for these e-scooters are open online and at Okinawa dealerships across the country.
Notably, the company has sold over 2,00,000 units of the Praise Pro and iPraise+ in the Indian market. To give you a quick recap, the Okinawa Praise Pro and iPraise+ boast a maximum speed of 56kmph and come with disc brakes on both wheels. However, the Pro version carries a smaller 2.08kWh lithium-ion battery pack that is claimed to deliver a range of 81km per charge. The iPraise+, on the other hand, gets a 3.6kWh lithium-ion unit that is said to deliver a maximum range of 137km per charge. The charging time for the Praise Pro and iPraise+ is rated at three hours and five hours, respectively.
The feature list standard on both variants comprises central locking with anti-theft alarm, keyless entry, find my scooter function, mobile charging USB port, and motor walking assistance (front/reverse motion). The iPraise+ version further benefits from geo-fencing, immobilisation, trips, secure parking, tracking and monitoring, maintenance and insurance reminder, battery info, speed alerts, and driver score.
