Royal Enfield Bear 650 production bike image leaked!

Royal Enfield is all set for a few new launches in the next few months. One of them could be the Bear 650 and now we come across its images. The bike here is production-ready and resembles the Interceptor 650 to a great extent.

The Royal Enfield Bear 650 is essentially a scrambler based on the Interceptor. Hence, it more or less uses the same framework and thereby the round LED headlight, peanut-shaped fuel tank, and a single-piece seat with a tubular grab rail. That said, it gets a revised tail light and turn indicator setup than the Interceptor.

Powering the Bear 650 will be the same 648cc, parallel-twin engine that all the current 650cc Royal Enfield bikes use. It will get a six-speed gearbox. However, the Bear 650 will get a two-in-one exhaust which means the tuning and the note could vary significantly. The said exhaust setup is to suffice its scrambler purpose and should also be notably lighter than its siblings.

Moreover, the Bear 650 appears to get a single-pod instrument console. It is likely to be a fully digital cluster with smartphone connectivity as standard. We also expect features like dual-channel ABS, USB charging slot, and more.

The hardware on the Bear 650 is what you would expect on an off-road-oriented motorcycle - USD front forks, dual rear shocks, a single front and rear disc, and spoke wheels with block pattern tyres.

The bike seen here is wearing a yellow with blue paint scheme, which further indicates Royal Enfield’s foray into funkier paint schemes as it did with the Guerrilla 450. So we expect some more paint schemes similarly.
