Hero
Hero MotoCorp is on a roll. At the ongoing 2014 Auto Expo, the company has taken the covers off the all-new Splendor Pro Classic – a 100cc commuter motorcycle designed to hark back to the classic appearance of a café racer.
Hero says this new model offers a distinct riding experience with its café racer design. To make it look like a café racer, Hero has given the Splendor Pro quite a comprehensive upgrade which includes a new handle bar, classic round headlight and tail light, café racer cowl and added chrome bits for the rear view mirrors, front and rear fenders.
Sadly, Hero has not upgraded the mechanicals of the bike. The Splendor Pro Classic, as a result, is powered by the same old 100cc air cooled single cylinder engine producing around 7bhp and 8.4Nm of torque.
