Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro: Top 5 Highlights

Ducati India has updated its product portfolio with the launch of the new Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro at an ex-showroom (India) price tag of Rs 12.89 lakh. This new model from the Italian two-wheeler brand marks the 50th anniversary of the first Scrambler that was introduced in 1971. Here we list the top five highlights of the new Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro.

Styling

As mentioned above, the new Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro pays tribute to the original scrambler that was introduced 50 years ago. Thus, this variant of the Scrambler 1100 series comes with the iconic Ducati logo from the 1970s and Giallo Ocra livery to complete its retro-modern theme. The design, on the other hand, remains similar to the standard Scrambler 1100, and the Tribute Pro retains a round headlight, short front fender, an upswept seat, side-slung twin-pod exhausts, and wire-spoke wheels.

Colour

The Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro is available in a single paint option – Giallo Ocra. The bright yellow paint theme is complemented by a brown cover for the saddle.

Features

Similar to the design, the feature list, too, remains unchanged from the standard motorcycle. Thus, the new Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro continues to pack full-LED lighting, an LCD instrument cluster, and an under-seat USB charger. The electronic rider aids on the motorcycle include Ride-by-Wire electronic management system, three riding modes, traction control, and cornering ABS.

Engine

The mechanical specifications retain the 1,079cc, L-twin, air-cooled engine that makes 86bhp of power at 7,500rpm and 88Nm of peak torque at 4,750rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox.

Hardware

The hardware, too, is similar to the standard model. Thus, the suspension tasks are handled by Marzocchi 45mm upside-down front fork and a Kayaba monoshock at the back – both fully adjustable. The anchoring tasks setup includes twin 320mm rotors with four-piston Brembo Monobloc M4.32 callipers at the front and a single 245mm disc with a single-piston calliper at the back. The motorcycle rides on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels. Key dimensions on the Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro include a 15-litre fuel tank, 211kg kerb weight, and an 810mm seat height.
