Best in the segment - review after 10 years u

I purchased my honda unicorn exactly 10 years ago and i am still using it. :) they say anything which travels long in time with you, becomes you. Honda unicorn has become family for me. Later in this review, i will give you my last one year's service details just to give you a clear picture of how good this vehicle really is. You can decide for yourself whether or not it's good or not. In my case, for the past 10 years, not a screw has dislodged itself from it. My review would sound like a love letter for some and i say love letter it is. 10 years of unconditional love Now for some specs. During this past 10 years my unicorn has seen 5 natural calamities (be it driving in a waist level water clog, tree uprooting cyclone, etc) and yet i was not given a heavy bill for repairs. In fact, my service bills have never gone above 4-5k for service and repairs. Mileage has been consistent for the first 6-7 years at 50 kmpl and after that, it has reduced to 40-45 kmpl which is perfectly understandable. As mentioned above, whether it's a lovely day or not, i seldom hesitated to use my bike. After 85000ish kilometres the bike still sounds near to greatness (this burden should entirely fall on the owner for engine care and not the machine because ... It's a machine!). I use motul semi synthetic 10w40 engine oil every 2500 kms. Cons:• screeching rear brake shoe sound• nothing else.Honda unicorn is probably the best and famous honda product in india and it deserves that sweet spot. Anyone buying this beauty should go blindfolded in their decision. All the best.

Honda dazzler reaches a top speed of 130km/hr the acceleration power is so strong that even strong competitors of 150cc and above have to think again before drag race. The reliability and build quality and overall looks of the bike is awesome i own the bike from past 10 years and enjoy the ride everyday.

It was only bike with rear disc brake in 2011. I brought it in aug 2011. Best bike i ever had. It clocks 120km/hr even after 9 years. Braking is awesome, in initial 3 years i got mileage of 55-60 kmpl. Very reliable, you can go with it anytime, anywhere. Love this bike....

I wish honda should relaunch with features like led lights, usd fork and some cosmetic changes specially in front of the bike.

Dual disc brake for instant braking. However i ride slowly but it's a great thing in it. Dual tone meter gives you a luxurious feeling especially when there no bike giving this at that time particularly. It's a complete package at that time & still riding this positively. Maintenance is less & great experience overall.

Smooth ride.. Good looks... Superb aerodynamics... Instant breaks.. With digital meter in 150 cc segment.. But No comparison to any bike up to 200 cc... Why don't Honda have options in 150 cc segment in Malaysia they have the same bike in pgm fi fuel injunction with bet...

So dazzler cannot be taken as first bike. For an experienced hand, honda unicorn dazzler is pure heaven.

On 2011 i rode a friend's dazzler and fell in love with it. On Jan 4th 2012 i got the grey dazzler. It's most easiest to manoeuvre in any kind of road. Shortest turn, easy control, comfortable riding posture. I went on a long rides though i seldom get vacations just for the love to ride it. Looks awesome in grey n red though many like black. In grey it looks like a true sports bike.Only thing to worry about is not having kick rod. If it was winter 20 i had to use choke else it wouldn't start so easily at the beginning of the day.Regarding maintenance, chain sprockets used wear n tear in every 12k to 14k km and cone set i had to replace thrice in 70000 km. Of course i used to drive off road couple of years ago which is a reason for damaging cone set.It's mileage is 58kmpl consistently for 4 years (if u run at 3.5k to 4k rpm) until i replaced rear tire of the bike with 120 size where the stock size was 110. Now it's mileage is 54kmpl.Top speed on it for me was 123kmph. It reached that speed even after 65000km run.Honda's best product. They should have re released it with kick rod instead of discontinuing it.
