Best bike in its class. Typical short pickup, good mileage, perfect for a long tour, unique comfort and balance, proper braking system. And its muscular looks grow attention in the traffic. I'm completely satisfied with it.
It has good adjustment between speed up and speeds down during overtaking. Easy and light clutch helps to ride in traffic also.

Tips for Honda CB Hornet 160R

If Motul is used, then it's said to change your engine oil after 5000-5500 km of riding. Clean and lube your bike chain after 1000km. No worry everything runs fine.

I had amazing experience of my hornet 160r 2018 model driven close to 50k kms best in reliability, mileage, braking, maintenance. Only normal service been made even the stock tyres lasted so long decent performance for touring too had 400 kms long drive feels comfortable though felt power may have been little better. Getting a mile age of 50 km per liter if you throttle too hard 35 maybe. Overall very good experience.

Buying experience was decent. Paid the whole amount in cheque and got the bike delivered the next day . As per my experience, the bike feels a bit short of power at low rpm but performance is good as you go past 4000 -5000 rpm. Looks are personal preference so won't say anything. Maintenance is on par with other 160 cc bikes ( not considering the premium offerings like r15 etc) as Honda engine oil is value for money and does the job. The only cons i feel are that the chain requires frequent adjustments as it gets loose very often. Also the rear suspension is a bit stiff in my opinion. Other than these things, the bike is very reliable and has never troubled me . Go for it if you are considering purchasing it for the long run.
