Im handling in the last 7 years of experience most powerful & easy comfortable ride & with zero percent maintenance Im completed 149502 km no doubt in this bike in the ruff & tuff in the mountain bike. Riding time no pain only gain easy handling to rush area in means market area very easily survive in this bike every museum & every temperature.

Best bike in the 160 segment

I have bought hornet 160r on 30 may 2017.Till now I have ride it 80000 kms .Bike is very much fuel efficient and there is no maintenance .I always do long tour from my bike I haven't got any problem till now. I am very very happy with the bike. Mileage is satisfactory and looks and performance is good. I always change the engine oil on 2500 km to 3000 km .Bike engine is very well till now.

Most important thing in bike is its engine oil. Change engine oil on every 2500 to 3000 kms .use chain lube for chain .

Perfect offering from Honda for Indian market

Buying experience was decent. Paid the whole amount in cheque and got the bike delivered the next day . As per my experience, the bike feels a bit short of power at low rpm but performance is good as you go past 4000 -5000 rpm. Looks are personal preference so won't say anything. Maintenance is on par with other 160 cc bikes ( not considering the premium offerings like r15 etc) as Honda engine oil is value for money and does the job. The only cons i feel are that the chain requires frequent adjustments as it gets loose very often. Also the rear suspension is a bit stiff in my opinion. Other than these things, the bike is very reliable and has never troubled me . Go for it if you are considering purchasing it for the long run.
