Buying a big bike or let’s say, a specialised bike isn’t an easy task. To begin with, you aren’t sure what kind of motorcycle you need. You have the money, you also have a fair idea of the brands present in India but choosing the right bike could be a time consuming process. In this story, we’ll try to help you out with knowing your genre of motorcycle but this time we’ll stick to motorcycles for people who prefer to go the distance. Why? There’s too much segmentation here.

You’ve a good 9-5 job in a software firm, earn a six figure salary and you ache to hit the tarmac on weekends on your bike. Chances are you’ll join a group of friends who ride to a place, eat breakfast and come back to enjoy the rest of the Sunday. But the question is, how would you want to do this? Do you want to have a nice laid back relaxed ride with the ability to enjoy the cross winds? If the answer is yes, then you’re a cruiser person. You like to enjoy the chilled breeze on a Sunday morning and enjoy the brotherhood by riding with like-minded people. You should check out our cruiser section that’ll give a wide range of options to go for.

Exploring new places, meeting new people and a love for travelling long distances – if these are some of the things you like, chances are you’re always tuned into Google Maps or Fox Traveler. For the tourer in you, you then should get a capable touring motorcycle to accompany you. One with an engine capacity of over 600cc should see you comfortably through your cravings. And luckily, over the last couple of years, there’ve been a steady increase of such motorcycles. You can find all of them here

You don’t have a plan nor you’ve made any reservations. All you know is that you want to ride through a forest, camp near the riverside and cook your own meal. These are the traits of you being an adventurer and chances are you’ll be drooling over the latest video of the Honda Africa Twin or the Triumph Tiger Explorer. Being an adventure rider has its own set of risks and maybe you like that. The ability to take your bike anywhere and anytime you want gives you a sense of freedom and enjoyment. You need good ground clearance along with some great suspension travel and a mighty fuel tank. And like we know, spending time with nature is the best thing to do on a weekend. Try researching about your favourite adventure motorcycle on bikewale.com and do write to us about your choice.
