Yamaha organises riding programme for women in Pune

Yamaha Motor India Sales organised a female rider training program on February 19th in Pune. The event was held in Maharashtra Institute of Technology and was attended by over 80 female students. The students got chance to learn the basic skill of riding a scooter on the Yamaha Ray and also importance of riding with proper gear.

“Many women in the country do not have the proper riding training or expertise required to ride a two wheeler. With the Yamaha Female Riding Training Program, we want to provide training to many such young women who want to experience the joys of riding a scooter.” said Masaki Asani, deputy MD.

The company has already organised similar camps in cities like Kolkatta, Bangalore and Chennai and soon plan to go to two and three tier cities.
