The Yamaha Cygnus Ray ZR Street Rally was launched at Rs 57,898. If you are on a similar budget, you could opt for 18 other scooters and motorcycles that the Indian market offers. 

The Yamaha Cygnus Ray ZR's biggest rivals are the Honda Activa 5G and the TVS Jupiter. The Activa 5G is priced at Rs 53,019. It is powered by a 109cc engine that produces 8bhp and 8.8Nm of torque.

The TVS Jupiter’s 109cc engine puts out 7.8bhp and 8Nm of torque. The Jupiter retails at Rs 52,563. Honda also has the Aviator at Rs 55,371. It is powered by the same 109cc as the Activa 5G. Yamaha offers Fascino priced at Rs 56,082. The scooter is powered by a 113cc engine that produces 7.1bhp and 8.1Nm of torque.

If you want slightly higher powered scooters, there are three options that you could look at. There is the Honda Activa 125 and Grazia which retails at Rs 61,245 and Rs 60,695 respectively. Both use a 124cc engine rated at 8.5bhp and 10.54Nm of torque.


Suzuki offers its flagship scooter, the Access 125 at Rs 57,130. It is powered by a 125cc engine that produces 8.4bhp and 10.2Nm of torque. You could also opt for commuter motorcycles in the price range. There is the Dream Yuga priced at Rs 53,300. The bike is a powered by a 109cc that engine produces 8.2bhp and 8.6Nm of torque. Hero offers three motorcycles in the 110cc commuter motorcycle segment; the Passion XPro, Splendor Plus i3S and the Splendor iSmart 110.


All three bikes are powered by the same 109cc engine that puts out 9.3bhp and 9Nm of torque. However, the Splendor i3S and Splendor iSmart 110 benefit from the i3S start-stop system for better fuel efficiency. While the Passion XPro retails at Rs 54,300, the Splendor Plus i3S and Splendor iSmart 110 are priced at Rs 52,300 and Rs 55,837 respectively. 

The TVS Victor retails at Rs 53,295 price tag. It uses a 109cc engine that produces 9.46bhp and 9.4Nm of torque. You could also opt for the Suzuki Hayate EP that is priced at Rs 52,953. It uses a slightly bigger 113cc engine that produces 8.6bhp and 9.3Nm of torque. In the 125cc commuter segment, there are five motorcycles on offer. Yamaha has the Saluto priced at Rs 53,898. Its 125cc engine puts out 8.2bhp and 10.1Nm of torque.


Bajaj offer two motorcycles, the Discover 125 and V12 which retail at Rs 53,670 and Rs 58,458 respectively. Both bikes are powered by a powered by a 124cc engine that delivers 10.6bhp and 10.98Nm of torque. There is the Hero Super Splendor priced at Rs 56,800. It sports a 124cc engine that produces 9bhp and 10.35Nm of torque. Hero also offers the Glamour i3S at Rs 59,571. The bike is equipped with the i3S technology and uses a 124cc engine that puts out 11.4bhp and 11Nm of torque.
