Suzuki registers 29 per cent growth in February 2018

Suzuki has registered an overall growth of 29.3 per cent growth in sales for February 2018.

The manufacturer sold 52,083 units last month as compared to the 40,175 units sold in the same time last year. Domestic sales for the manufacturer increased by 37.2 per cent. It sold 46,147 units in the domestic market last month over the 33,641 units it sold in the same period last year.

Suzuki credits its growth in the Indian market to its highest selling scooter, the Access 125. While the Gixxer did well for a while it saw a slump in sales from January this year. However, we can expect Suzuki to launch an updated Gixxer with new paint schemes soon. The manufacturer will also launch the Intruder Fi, Burgman Street 125 and the GSX-S750 for the Indian market, this year.
