Cons in bike after 1.5 years of daily use ...

I would like to share my experience in few fields including the

First one about looks ~ fantastic looks..But after owning the bike for more than 1.5 yrs, the looks are better just initially. With age the fibre tends to turn whitish giving it a very ugly look.

Second one is regarding riding ~ fantastic grip over roads, thanks to its wide flat tyres, but here it still has some cons as when the rear tyre heard up due to friction between roads, it starts loosing the grip n makes the bike shuffle at one side.

Third one is regarding clutch n chain ~ after servicing it works smooth for around 200 to 300km and later again starts knocking voice and chain sound too.

Tips for Honda CB Hornet 160R

Change oil after every 3000km Clean the chain with diesel and lubricated chain every week once to avoid chain sound and damage to chain

It is a good bike for daily commute with routine mid-riding speed pros - good looks, avg mileage, handling, braking, good mid-range performance cons - sloppy engine performance on high speed, very basic features with switch gears and meter.

It has good adjustment between speed up and speeds down during overtaking. Easy and light clutch helps to ride in traffic also.

Only normal service been made even the stock tyres lasted so long decent performance for touring too had 400 kms long drive feels comfortable though felt power may have been little better. Getting a mile age of 50 km per liter if you throttle too hard 35 maybe. Overall very good experience.
