Let’s be clear for a moment.There are faster motorcycles in this segment—hell, even Triumph’s own lineup has quicker ones. But for sheer grunt off the line, combined with a buttery-smooth, throaty growl, the Scrambler 900 is hard to beat. And no, I won’t call it the “Street Scrambler.” That’s marketing fluff.I’ve done over 15,000 kilometers on mine. Bangalore to Delhi and back. Goa in full monsoon meltdown. The back-country goat tracks of Karnataka. Through all of that, the bike hasn’t coughed, sneezed, or put a foot wrong.To this day, it rides exactly as it did the moment I bought it. No leaks, no rattles, no mystery warning lights. And it still gives me that fizzing jolt in the gut when I crack the throttle, the same one I got when I test-rode it and left a Tiger Sport 660 wondering what just happened.Now, about the heat. Yes—it gets warm. You don’t ride in shorts. And if you’re stuck in Bangalore’s Outer Ring Road traffic, your thighs will feel it. But let’s not kid ourselves: that’s every big-capacity bike. The Tiger 900, for instance, sends a blast furnace directly onto your leg as if Triumph designed it to test your pain tolerance.The Scrambler? Never once has it overheated. Never once has it forced me to stop and fan my legs like a rotisserie chicken. The heat shields do their job, the radiator behaves, and the whole setup just works. Triumph knows how to engineer a motorcycle, and this thing is proof.Because here’s the thing: this isn’t some 200-horsepower death wish on two wheels. It’s a gentleman’s motorcycle. It tells the world you’re confident, you know who you are, and you’re not compensating for anything. You ride because you enjoy it, not because you need to prove it.It’s absolutely magical. And I love it.

This is my first premium segment bike so I bought it with a lot of excitement and this bike lived up to the mark so far. Let me put things simply what I like and dislikeLikes1. Built quality is good. 2. It handles the rough roads with smoothly.3. Upright riding position gives long-distance ride comfort4. This bike gives a smooth ride on the highway as it sticks to the road even on bumps and lows. I think it is because of the weight it has.Dislikes1.It heats up very quickly which may uncomfortable in the summers.2. Accessories are very pricey.
