My experience with the Ather 450X has been highly satisfactory from purchase to daily usage. The buying process was smooth, transparent, and well‑managed, with knowledgeable staff explaining features, charging options, and service plans clearly. In terms of riding experience, the scooter offers excellent acceleration, stable handling, and confident braking, making it ideal for urban commuting. The build quality and design feel premium and well thought out, with a modern yet practical look.Performance is one of the strongest aspects of the 450X, especially in Sport and Warp modes, which provide quick response and effortless overtakes in city traffic. The touchscreen dashboard, navigation, and software updates add strong value. Servicing and maintenance have been hassle‑free due to scheduled services and minimal mechanical complexity compared to ICE vehicles.As with any EV, charging infrastructure availability can be a limitation in certain areas, and real‑world range varies with riding style. Regular tyre pressure checks, smooth acceleration, and planned charging help maximise efficiency and battery health. Ather EVs are great for city rides and handling all your daily needs. They are also a good choice for students. You can conveniently charge at home (in your society) or use the company-provided fast chargers available at multiple locations. Service is fairly easy to manage as well. The 450X even has a Sport mode, which gives you that bike-like feel. Overall, my experience has been good so far with Ather.

Disappointed for buying Ather

Honestly, it feels like it’s better to scrap or burn this vehicle than to spend such a huge amount again on a new battery. After paying a premium price for the scooter, facing such an issue in just 3 years, and then being asked to pay ₹35,000 for a replacement battery is nothing but a betrayal of customer trust.
