For a long time, I wasn't sure about getting an electric bike because I worried about the battery running out while riding. But after using the EcoDryft Standard for six months in Bangalore traffic, I can say this bike has really changed my view. The bike feels light and easy to ride. It looks like a regular commuter bike, but it's surprisingly smooth once you start riding.
I travel from Whitefield to Indiranagar and back, which is about 32 km each day. The bike's range of 151 km isn’t just for show; it’s real. I ride carefully and consistently get around 145 km per charge. Some people might think the fixed 3 kWh battery is a downside, but I don’t mind. I have a plug in my basement parking, so I charge it overnight, fitting well into my routine. Though fast charging would be nice, it's manageable with some planning.
What I really appreciate is how easy it is to maintain. There’s no need for oil changes or clutch work, just with charge and you're ready to go. And the best part, the savings on fuel, you can feel it. I used to spend about ₹2,000 a month on petrol, but now I save all that money. I chose the red color for the bike; it stands out nicely without being too flashy. The bike can go up to 75 km/h, which is enough for flyovers and highways around the city. If you commute less than 100 km a day and have a good setup to charge at home, the EcoDryft Standard is a great choice. I just wish I had made the switch earlier.

Before EcoDryft, I would be so stressed while commuting in Mumbai traffic, petrol queues, heat from the engine, and noise. The ride is quiet, smooth, and I genuinely look forward to my 28 km round-trip ride now.
The acceleration is excellent, particularly for city roads. The range holds up. I get around 145 km on average, and that's including pillion occasionally. The maximum speed of 75 km/h is sufficient for local roads, even the expressway to Thane, occasionally.
There's no chain to grease, no clutch, no petrol — I save about ₹2,500 a month. Maintenance? Simple servicing every couple of months.
Charging at home is easy. It's not detachable, but it suits me. I charge it overnight, and it's ready in the morning.
Strongly recommended if you wish to make life easier and save money.
