Ola S1 electric scooter final payment window opens on 21 January

- Final payment window to open tomorrow

- Buyers can make payment via the Ola app from 6 pm onwards

- Open to buyers who have paid Rs 20,000 in advance

Ola Electric has announced that it will open the final payment window for the S1 electric scooter on 21 January, 2022. The payment window will be open on the Ola app from 6 pm onwards. It is open for people who have already paid Rs 20,000 as an advance.

Do note that Ola Electric had decided to temporarily suspend the production of the base model, the S1. The electric two-wheeler maker communicated the update to its potential buyers through an email. It stated that this model has been temporarily suspended as a majority of the customers are claimed to have purchased the more expensive and loaded S1 Pro. The customers who had paid for the S1 have the option to upgrade to the S1 Pro.

Meanwhile, Ola has been facing some negative responses due to poor delivery turnaround and lack of clarity on the delivery date. Furthermore, the brand hasn’t been doing well in terms of overall sales and after-sales experience either. The company had previously announced that it is producing 1,000 units of the electric scooter per day.
