Electric motorcycle brand, Matter, has partnered with digital commerce and financing platform, OTO to provide financing options for its newly launched product, the AERA. Interested buyers can also book this new electric motorcycle through OTO’s website.
Matter had launched the Aera electric motorcycle with prices starting from Rs. 1.43 lakh. This electric motorcycle will be available in four variants – Aera 4000, Aera 5000, Aera 5000+, and Aera 6000+. However, the company has only released the details and prices for the Aera 5000 range. The Aera 5000 and Aera 5000+ are available at Rs. 1,43,999 and Rs. 1,53,999, respectively (both ex-showroom, PAN India, including FAME II).
The feature list on this electric motorcycle comprises an LED headlight, a TFT console smartphone connectivity, and ride modes. Meanwhile, the styling cues include an aggressive design along with clip-on handlebars, a split seat, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The Matter Aera 5000 range is powered by a 10kW motor that works with a liquid-cooled 5kWh battery. The maximum claimed range stands at 125km, and charging time is rated at five hours using a regular charger setup. A fast charger, on the other hand, can recharge the battery pack in just two hours. This is also the first electric motorcycle in India to feature a four-speed transmission.
