Ampere Vehicles has joined hands with Autovert Technologies to a launch of a battery subscription plan through an IoT backed platform. The company claims that the partnership will make electric scooters even more affordable. The subscription plan will be available with a few select dealers in Bangalore for now. The company plans to replicate the plan nationwide.
The battery subscription plan aims to reduce the cost of vehicle acquisition and provide a choice to the buyers. With this subscription plan, buyers can purchase Magnus Pro by paying Rs 49,990, whilst opting for a monthly battery subscription of Rs 1,990. Without the subscription plan, the e-scooter retails at an ex-showroom price of Rs 73,990.
The partnership will also offer benefits such as extended warranty of five years along with full vehicle insurance, full vehicle service and maintenance for 24 months, upgrade options, discounts on replacement battery and much more. Additionally, full vehicle subscription plans are also available for the Magnus Pro and Zeal models, starting at Rs 2,777 per month.
