One of the best bike for city rides and short highway trips

I purchased this bike in January 2026, look wise its an awesome bike, the bike is ideal for city rides with great power delivery , can also be used for short highway rides. Now coming upon mileage, the company claims 45KMPL but in city riding it gives mileage of hardly 35 KMPL, maybe it can slightly increase on the highway. And if you're buying in Jaipur so keep one thing in mind the service experience is not that good in this city for hero bikes above 125 cc.

I have just purchased my Hero Xtreme 160R 2v on 17.06.2026. I must say this is one of the most efficient and handsome look bike. Very good balance and handling. Sporty look still comfortable. Currently, I am getting aprx 46-49 average. It might be a little bit uncomfortable for women co passenger. Overall passionate sporty look bike specially for teenagers.

Maine 31 August 2025 ko xtreme 160 r 2v liya....bike ka fuel injector break ho gaya 28 Feb 26 ko....Maine rsa book kar ke bike ko 01 march 26 ko service centre bejh diya....uske baad service maneger ka kahna hai ki kisi ne mere bike ka fuel injector tod diya hai....maine service manager ko kaha bhi ki koi mere bike ka wire torega Jo ki samne se dikh raha hai na ki mere bike ka fuel injector itna under hath daal kar ke torega.....bike warenty gurenty me hone wabjood service manager charge kar raha hai 4000/-.....jab maine service manager se mil kar ke charges janna chaha toh charge 4500/- ho gaya......mera bike aj bhi service centre me para saar raha hai.... isliye bhai log hero ke bike ko maat purchase karna.....

Bike is good for 5.5 height or above. Good Design and performance with good mileage looks like a sports bike . The bike comes with led light which looks like an elegant design and the brake system is marvellous bike is stable and the gear system is marvellous still features are required for a better understanding of performance .

It’s honestly one of the best bikes I’ve owned in my life. From the very first look, it grabs attention with its stylish design and premium feel — definitely a head-turner on the road. The build quality feels solid, and every detail in the design adds to its overall appeal.When it comes to performance, the bike truly stands out. It handles smoothly on different types of roads, whether city traffic or highways. The pickup is impressive, and the riding experience is comfortable even on longer journeys. Stability and control at higher speeds are also quite reliable, which adds to the confidence while riding.Mileage is another strong point. Considering its performance, the fuel efficiency is quite good and practical for daily use as well as occasional long rides. It strikes a nice balance between power and economy.

I'm writing this review after 5 years of use. Not worth spending. First, I would like to focus on the pros: Good front and back design, front ABS is good, the LED lights are good, ride comfort is okay, sturdy design, and acceleration is quite okay. Cons: chain and sprocket is very poor had to change within 2 years of usage(despite of maintaining it and lubricating regularly), back disc brakes are useless( skids after applying), old model doesn't have brightness control on speedometer (makes night riding difficult), front suspension sealing isn't good, efficiency dropped drastically, engine light comes on very frequently (had to take to garage regularly).Not worth spending lakhs on this bike.

I bought my bike just before 3 months ago, and now I'm facing many technical problems, especially with the display and all indicator gadgets. There are no proper sensors in the indicator gadgets. As they guaranteed that the bike would not face any issues for 2 years, but within 3 months, everything collapsed, and they are not providing proper service for what we asked for.

Service issue of xtreme 160R

I service regularly but bike performance continues to decrease. Every service time filter and other some other parts continue replaced, the service cost is more than my car service at the outside mechanic. The fuel sensor does not work properly, the body sound continues. Overall I think it is a waste of money, I am not satisfied with Hero Service and Xtream 160r

Don't buy this bike parts are not available

Don't buy this bike because parts are not available and if you ask through insurance still parts are not available for very late service and they don't attend to you properly. I will suggest please don't buy this company bike as parts are very difficult to find in the market my bike has been at the showroom for the last month and still they are not listening to anything.

Whenever you are going to service your service center they suggest you always change to parts there is no any replacement of item. They never clearly told you which parts are in warranty or not, they say only it will change otherwise your related parts also damage. Dear Bikewale, please don't Remove This Review.
