The new 2021 edition of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been spotted in fully-finished, production-ready form. Although it has been sighted on multiple occasions until now, what has really caught our attention this time is the new colour scheme.
The latest spy image of the 2021 Classic 350 shows the bike draped in green colour with a glossy finish. Accentuating its visual appeal is the presence of golden stripes on the fuel tank and under seat cowl along with a brown seat. It’s worth noting that the existing colour palette of the Classic 350 doesn’t have this version. We expect the next-generation version of the bike to come in more such new colour options. Accompanying this unit was another Classic 350 in a grey paint scheme that’s available even with the existing bike.
A host of details are already known about the next-gen Classic 350, thanks to the frequently emerging spy images. The main highlight of the bike will be its new 349cc, air and oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that belongs to RE’s new J platform and already powers the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. Linked to a five-speed gearbox, the motor produces 20.2bhp and 27Nm. The motorcycle will also get new switchgear along with an updated instrument cluster with an LCD dash. The new Tripper navigation system will also be a part of the package but it’s likely to be available as an optional accessory.
Royal Enfield is likely to officially launch the 2021 Classic 350 in the coming weeks in India. The prices of the bike will demand a premium over the existing iteration of the Classic that’s pegged from Rs 1,79,782 (ex-showroom) onwards.
