Simple Energy Scooters

Simple Energy is an electric two-wheeler company. Formed in 2019, the company operates on the mission of 'Made in India, for the World', with a focus on localizing its supply chain, reducing dependency on importing components.

Simple Energy launched their first product, the Simple One, in 2023. Since then, their range has been updated to two models, the Simple One Gen 2, their flagship offering, and Simple One S Gen 2, aimed at disrupting the entry-level market.

With a strong presence in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, and a vision to expand to other cities in India, Simple Energy describes its products as 'Super EVs', capable of high levels of performance and range, factors that are considered the major stumbling blocks for most EVs. Their development has yielded both high-density batteries, and indigenously developed motors free of rare-earth materials.

With in-house R&D, testing and a newly opened manufacturing plant in Shoolagiri, Tamil Nadu, Simple Energy have their sights set on the stalwarts of the Indian, e-scooter space.
