Indian electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, Simple Energy has joined hands with Siemens Digital Industries Software to boost EV mobility solutions. Simple Energy has also partnered with PROLIM, Siemens’ Technology Partner, to share its technologies.
The company has announced that through this partnership, Simple Energy will be adopting Siemens’ Teamcenter X cloud-based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software to establish a strong digital foundation for its e-mobility solutions. It added that the PLM technology will deliver consistent and rich product definition to further improve Simple Energy’s manufacturing, quality, and R&D standards.
Speaking about the partnership, Suhas Rajkumar, founder and CEO, Simple Energy, said that digitalisation is vital to make EV manufacturing efficient and environment friendly. Srinath Koppa, Managing Director, PROLIM India, added that the benefits of the cloud-native Teamcenter X will power Simple Energy’s technology and support the fast-paced, rapidly growing EV market in India.
