Honda 2Wheelers India has announced the launch of the new Activa 125 Premium Edition in our market with prices starting from Rs 78,725 onwards. Here we tell you everything about this new variant of the 125cc scooter from Honda 2Wheelers India.
Styling Revisions
The Activa 125 Premium Edition retains the design of the standard scooter, although Honda 2Wheelers India has slightly tweaked the styling to distinguish the two models. The Premium Edition features a black-out engine, black telescopic forks, body-coloured grab rail, and a new set of decals. The design elements retained from the standard Activa 125 include a single-pod LED headlight, apron-mounted front turn indicators, a multifunction keyhole, Idling Stop System, pass switch, external fuel filler cap, a front glove box, and a semi-digital instrument cluster.
New Colours
The Activa 125 Premium Edition is available in two new dual-tone colour options – Pearl Amazing White with Matte Magnificent Copper Metallic and Matte Steel Black Metallic with Matte Earl Silver Metallic.
Mechanical Specifications
While the Honda Activa 125 Premium Edition gets a styling makeover, the mechanical specifications on the scooter remain unaltered. Thus, this new variant of the scooter retains the 124cc, air-cooled engine that comes mated to a CVT gearbox and produces 8.18bhp of power and 10.3Nm of peak torque.
Hardware
The hardware, too, remains unchanged and the Activa 125 Premium Edition continues to use telescopic front forks and a single rear spring to handle the suspension tasks. Similar to the standard model, the Premium Edition is available in two variants – Drum and Disc. The base model uses drum brakes on both wheels while the premium version features a disc brake at the front.
Price
The drum brake variant is priced at Rs 78,725 while the disc version is available at Rs 82,280 (disc brake), making the Premium edition approximately Rs 2,000 more expensive than the corresponding standard trims.
