This front fork issue affected 56,194 units manufactured between 7-16 February. Honda will notify affected customers via call, email or SMS for inspection at the nearest dealership. Customers can also enter their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on Honda India’s official website to check if their vehicle is affected. If the vehicle is found to have the faulty bolt flange, Honda will replace the part, free of cost without affecting the warranty of the scooter. On the other hand, the Honda Activa 5G, Dio and Cliq are not affected as they use a bottom link suspension setup.
