Reviews of Honda Activa [2000-2015]

I was purchased honda activa in april 2004, more than 145000 k.M used till now. Performance is very good and maintenance very good. It is very comfortable to all. I never feel bore or hurdle while running this scooter. I wants to purchase the same to my children. I am requesting to price reduction for honda family members,.

First of all, you don't have to inquire about the activa , because its an very well known scooter since the decade , many old scooter are running without any problem, because of its durability and honda is well known in the market for its cars and super-bikes also and even when you compare the price, it is very competitive with the other scooters in its category with good mileage. Go for it

I have this active since 2010 and it's been used only for very short rides around the locality i stay. That is the reason it has done only 3700+ km in last 7 years. I have been using this single handed and hence it rides smoothly and is totally trustworthy.

I now want to get the new model of activa and that's the only reason i am selling this bike.

Guess this time i will try a different colour than the amazing grey of the current bike, which is still shining without and scratches or dents.

Honda activa when originally launched had a metal body and was much more heavier then today's model...It was a perfect bike to replace kinetic honda and every one was happy using the same....The 2014 model that i have is good but needs improvement as it needs a metal body not a fibre body....The sock absorber needs to be more strong......Another most important defect is that the handle starts to shake as the speed of the bike increases and there is a heavy vibration....Not to forget after 2 to 3 years of purchase the front fork of the bike requires repairs or needs to be changed as its not that durable as compared to the old models.....The staff at the service center are not well educated and are at times not able to resolve the issue completely.....Air filter of the bike also creates problem sometimes and the average keeps on decreasing year after year.....I personally feel honda being a good brand in manufacturing bikes shout charge the customers and see that the new models are heavy duty and long lasting.

I have purchased the honda activa bike from one of the honda showroom in hyderabad. I got a great service from the honda customer service by offering 3 times free service of the bike. I mainly bought this bike for carrying some groceries items, fruits, and helps in storing large quantity of items in it. Coming to the looks and performance side, it has 12 inch front tyre for better ride and low end torque with the digital meter makes it different from others. From my personal experience, i feel one con is about mileage is less and need to get down and open the seat for the filling up the petrol. Its a major drawback what i see.
