I purchased 'mahindra ' bike make 'pantro ' in year 2012. Within few weeks from purchase of the vehicle, the bike started giving troubles. My bike's registration no. Is tn 22 ck 1365 and purchased it in chennai(dealer from guindy and now shut down).

Initially, the bike's speedometer was malfunctioning and not showing speed and kms run. It was changed free of cost. Thereafter one after another troubles/problems came in line with my bike. They are as hereunder:-

a) clutch wire worn out.

B) bike's side stand got bent and had to be stationed on centre stand till side stand was replaced.

C) carburator component started leaking and found to be loose.

D) petrol tank knob was malfunctioning.

E) fuse of low dim bulb of headlight component was burnt out.

F) clutch set was changed again due to its malfunctioning.

G) mileage was less than 45 kmper ltr.

H) engine developed crackling sound all of sudden and immobilised. Afterspending around rs. 3000/- At mahindra's authorised workstation, the bike become serviceable. This happened before two months.

I) now the bike developed snags as though engine is running, the vehicle is not moving at all when gear is changed from netural to first one. Besides, the bike's engine used to give some sort of crackling sound often while driving. Now the vehicle is sent to nearby mechanic who informed me that some part is broken and needs replacement.

So, my ordeal is continuing and mahindra company is not taking any steps when complained through facebook. They simply gave a customery message that their personnel would be in touch shortly. But no one turned up till date. == So i request everybody whoever wants to go for purchasing new bike, that they should not purchase any bike manufactured by mahindra company. = My contact number is 9884xxxxxx and 7871xxxxxx. Now i plan to go for consumer case against m/s mahindra for supplying this worse than the worst bike.

Fule economy is 70-75 kmpl. Ride.

Quality & handling - very comfortable and pick up is very smooth.

Final words - centuro is the unique bike with 5 years warranty and price is afforable for all.

Pantero is also a good option to go for !

pantero is lightweight compared to others and hence easy to control.

I always enjoyed the reliable engine which did not give much starting issues.

The bike was quite reliable with lesser maintenance and a good mileage of 65km/l.

Pantero has some more special features and looks.
