I really like my Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 because it strikes a great balance between style and performance. It has a massive road presence that makes people stop and notice, giving it a big bike feel. The engine is incredibly smooth, making every ride enjoyable without annoying vibrations. I’m also very happy with the running costs as my first two services were less than 1.5k each, and I get a solid 38-40 kmpl on the highway and 32-34 kmpl in the city.
​However, there are a few small things that could be better. The LED headlight throw is just average for this price, and the instrument cluster feels a bit basic compared to newer bikes. Also, the rider footpegs can be a bit annoying in heavy traffic as they sometimes get in the way when you put your feet down, despite these minor issues it’s a fantastic, refined machine that i am very glad I bought.

2. Riding was a bit stiff. But does the job on highways. Not an offroader bike.
3. Looks wise I loved it. But performance wise it's average. Decent power. Got a mileage of 35-38 in highways and 28-30 in the city.
4. Maintenance cost is low but not the servicing. I paid 1300 for my first free servicing. Idk how much I have to pay next.
5. Pros:- Overall Good looking bike, has a road presence. A proper highway tourer. You will enjoy it on the highways.
Cons:-
(i) My bike has vibrations on the right accelerator handle. Idk if someone else has it. On long tours, my right-hand goes numb.
(ii) Stiff suspension that's why it is strictly not an offroader. Go for a Himalayan if you want off-roading.
(iii) Clunky gearbox. I have difficulty with shifting gears. It's rough, especially with the 6th gear.
(iv) The engine makes a bad sound when I rev it to the max.
(v) Headlamps are completely useless in the dark.
(vi) The top speed I got is around 110km/h. It doesn't go more than that. Or maybe I am a noob idk. And the cruising speed is around 60-70 if you want a mileage of 35-38. I hope I get more after 2 more services.
(vii) Although this might not be a con but i suggest you buying a rear tire hugger. The bike gets completely dirty on the rear because of the sticky tires which is good for gripping during rainy seasons.
(viii) The Pricing of this bike. It is not value for money.

2. Bike is actually Vibration-Strom. I've exchanged my gixxer sf for this shit. Now I regret every day.
3. Looks good. Chains are very noisy also visors on left side pull out on high speed. Mirrors fall down on vibration.
4. After 2nd serviced done right leg side penal not fitted properly. They make noises. I've fixed it outside. Left side pulling issue never solver.
Only pro's is mileage I've got 45 approx otherwise only cons cons and cons.
Please riders avoid this shit.

Here's my honest review. I have been using this bike for over 1.5 years and have driven it for 25k kms.
Pros: Smooth engine. Super comfortable and wonderful machine for touring. Return good milage in both highways and city. (Above 30 in city traffic)
Low maintenance in terms of filter and engine oil.
Clutch is a bit stiff and riders under 5.7 will be bit uncomfortable as the bike is tall
Cons: Out of excitement I missed doing a predelivery inspection. There was a knocking sound from the front shocks when breaks were applied or when i used to hit a pothole. I brought this to the mechanic's notice at the very first service and I have approached them for the same issue 5 times. Every time they would just tighten some nut and return the bike saying it's fixed. Last time they replaced the coneset still the sound came back after a few hundred kms. I'm frustrated with Suzuki's service. I commute is mostly on highways and traffic never off-road. I wonder how many issues might arise if I go for off-roading.
Next is quality of switches: all switches stopped functioning properly after 10k kms. They never replaced it even after complaining several times. I'm facing this issue from reputed service centres from both Udupi and Bangalore(Karnataka).
Another issue is suspension is too stiff and the suspension travel is low. Your arms get punished each time you hit a pothole.
The worst part is resale value for this bike is too low. Incase you want to sell it Good luck with your task 🙂 as market is flooded with 2nd hand vstroms with low demand
