I had test ridden suzuki intruder 150. Such an amazing bike. I owned apache rtr 180 for past 5 years. After rtr, i am planned to buy intruder 150. Its performance is fulfilled my heart. Most important thing is, i am ready for all India tour with bike. My perfect choice is suzuki intruder, which is suitable for making my trip with lot of happiness. Thank you suzuki motors for invent this modern cruiser. Be a cruise rider !!!!!

1.Buying experience of this bike was great as i got my hands on it very quickly.The management handed over the bike to me the next i booked it.Costed around 1.15l on-road

2.As it is a cruiser the riding posture and the ergonomics were great.Was a little difficult to find the key hole as it is above the headlight but will get used to it after sometime.

3.The looks are stunning and is surely an head turner.Performance wise it is okay for an 150cc engine and the torque is excellent.It gives you thumping sound like bigger bikes but not like an royal enfield.

4.As it is a new bike didn't go to servicing.Mileage is good 38-40 in city and 43-45 in highways(expected).

5. Final verdict:the bike is good similar to its bigger brother 1800r. Go for it instead if you were looking for bajaj avenger.

For years avenger has ruled the budget cruiser segment in India, for the lack of competition in its price bracket. But after almost 13 years it finally has a credible challenger in the form of suzuki intruder 150. So let break this down part by part.

Looks: looks are a completely subjective affair.But since it borrows its looks from intruder 1800 it has a big bike look for the segment. Some might love it for the big bike look, and others might hate it for the plastics. To me, the bike looks beautiful. A little bit overdone, but beautiful none the less. It has a lot of road presence and when you get on it, you get a genuine heavy cruiser feel and i somewhat believe that was what suzuki India was going for The chunky headlamp has led in projector lamp position which looks good. The indicators are led as well as the tail-lamp. The tail-lamp looks perfect on the bike in terms of size and design. It gets an "intruder" emblem on the side which looks premium. The tank is massive and makes you forget for a moment the actual capacity of the bike. Now coming to the cons the handlebar section look a little scooterish as the handlebar is covered under a cowl. What is the worst part for me is the exhaust pipe which looks completely disproportionate on the bike because of the massive size. But apart from these, the bike looks premium for the segment.

Performance: the performance of the bike is almost like the tried and tested gixxer 155. If you got off a gixxer and started riding the intruder, you would hardly feel any difference in terms of ride quality, acceleration and speed. What is slightly different is the gearbox and the longer wheelbase which makes it better equipped for highway rides. The engine is 155 cc which gives 14.6 bhp power and 14 nm torque.Top speed is around 120 as for the gixxer. The low and mid-end are very punchy. The bike doesn't stall in higher gears. You can push the bike around corners and it feels confident. Since most of the parts are gixxer's it won’t be tough to service and getting parts for the intruder.

Braking and ergonomics: the braking on the bike is the best in segment owing to the single channel abs on front. It has 270 mm disc on the front and 230 mm disc on the back. This is the only bike in this segment and budget which comes with abs. As it is a cruiser comfort is its holy grail. The seats are even more comfortable than its archival the avenger. The pillion seat is smaller and a proper backrest(like avenger) is found missing. The red stitching on the seats looks premium. The heat height is low as is the mark of a cruiser. The footrest is far-front set, which is a comfortable position for short and tall riders but might be a little problematic to reach for too short riders.

Instrument console: the instrument console is the same as the gixxer. Looks a little out of place on a cruiser, but is actually good as it is still the best instrument console in the segment. However, they could have changed it a little as it still reads, “ready.. Go” as if it is a racing bike which is a little out of character for a cruiser.

So to sum up, intruder is a very tempting cruiser offering from suzuki with its raunchy looks, excellent fit and finish, great ride quality, premium looks and big cruiser feel. The bike is absolute fun to ride. It handles very easily in spite of having big dimensions. And it even corners well. It does everything that a gixxer can and on top of that cake can give you the cherry of abs and cruiser comfort. And for this price point, it is a complete package.

Buy it if you like or are indifferent to the looks, don’t if you think it is a monstrosity! this is a big step-up from the limited competition in every respect. Ultimately though, it's the design which works both for and against the intruder. Some may find it very attractive, and others may find it a little too overdone. But if you like the design and feel this is what a small displacement modern cruiser should look like, by all means, go ahead, take a test ride. We can say with certainty, you won't be disappointed; it's that good a bike!

He's only 1 years old when i ride this bike he's very comfortable to sit on bike(only in side of society track ) between my knees because bike rider seat is very comfortable.
