    The केटीएम ड्यूक is a brand of bikes made by केटीएम two wheeler manufacturer in India. There are 7 ड्यूक models on offer with price starting from Rs. 1,74,303 (avg. Ex-showroom). The cheapest model under the series is केटीएम 160 ड्यूक with 164.2cc engine generating 18.73 bhp of power. Whereas the most expensive model is केटीएम 1390 सुपर ड्यूक R with 1350cc engine generating 187.7 bhp of power.

    The KTM Duke series in India is known for its excellent performance, great features and styling that makes people turn heads. It became the first choice for young Indians who wanted a motorcycle that was aspirational as well as easy to maintain. With its class-leading performance and competitive price tag, the Duke series has managed to attract riders from all walks of life. Currently, KTM sells five motorcycles in the Duke Series – the 125 Duke, the 200 Duke, the 250 Duke, the 390 Duke and the 790 Duke.

    The 125 Duke is the most affordable KTM one can buy in India. The bike sports the same sharp and aggressive styling as the bigger Dukes. This KTM is equipped with fully-digital instrument cluster, trellis frame and upside-down front forks. The braking system is sourced from Bybre and is assisted by single-channel ABS system.

    The 200 Duke used to be the highest selling Duke in India, but it moved to the second spot after the Duke 125 was launched. Just like the other Dukes, the Duke 200 is also known for its class-leading power output, rich feature list and an attractive price point. This motorcycle gets its power from a single-cylinder liquid cooled engine. It rides on inverted forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, the braking hardware consists of a 300mm disc up front and a 230mm disc at the rear along with dual-channel ABS as standard.

    The 250 Duke has been launched for Indian riders who want the styling of the Duke 390 but don’t have the budget. This Duke takes styling cues from the Duke 390 and a few parts like instrument cluster and mirrors from the Duke 200. The bike rides on the upside-down forks in the front and a monoshock at the rear. The braking department on this bike is being taken care of by a 300mm disc at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear. Dual-channel ABS is standard and switchable too.

    The 390 Duke has been the best choice for riders who have been looking to purchase a bike that has great performance and cheaper to run too. The combination of 43bhp motor, excellent feature list and great riding dynamics make it an enticing purchase. Just like its fully-faired sibling, the Duke 390 is also equipped with top-class braking system which has integrated dual-channel ABS system.

    The 790 Duke is KTM’s flagship offering for the Indian market. The street naked borrows the sharp styling and features from its elder sibling, the 1290 Super Duke which is sold by KTM in the international markets. Built around a steel trellis frame and aluminium sub-frame, the 790 Duke engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and bi-directional quickshifter. The 790 Duke comes with an array of electric aids which includes lean-sensitive traction control, cornering ABS, launch and wheelie control along with riding modes that include a ‘Supermoto’ mode that turns off ABS at the rear wheel, allowing the rider to get the tail out while cornering.

      The buying experience at the KTM showroom was top-notch. The staff was highly cooperative and took the time to explain all the electronics and features, like the ABS modes and the quickshifter. The delivery process was very smooth and hassle-free. Looks & Design: The aggressive streetfighter design is absolutely stunning. With its sharp tank extensions and overall styling, it looks almost identical to the bigger Duke 390. It has an incredible road presence that definitely turns heads whenever I take it out. The 250cc engine is arguably the most refined single-cylinder in KTM's lineup. It is perfect for city traffic because, unlike the 390, there are virtually no overheating issues when you are stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic. Out on the highway, it comfortably cruises at 100-110 km/h all day. The bi-directional quickshifter works flawlessly and makes the ride extremely fun. The suspension is on the stiffer side, but that translates to amazing balance, stability, and confidence while cornering. The biggest surprise for me has been the fuel economy! By riding sensibly and keeping the engine in the right RPM range, I am consistently getting a massive 34 kmpl. For a performance-oriented 250cc machine, getting this kind of mileage is honestly unbelievable. Pros (+): Fantastic looks, ultra-smooth and refined engine, razor-sharp handling, and brilliant mileage. Cons (-): The pillion seat is quite small and stiff, making it uncomfortable for passengers on long rides. Also, because of the stiff suspension, you will feel the sharp bumps on broken roads.

      The 2026 KTM Duke 200 Gen 3 is a bike that immediately gives a sporty and aggressive feeling the moment you see it. The design looks very sharp and modern, which is one of the reasons many young riders are attracted to it. The bike has a strong road presence, and its streetfighter styling makes it look premium compared to many other bikes in the 200 cc segment. When it comes to performance, the Duke 200 is very exciting to ride. The engine feels quick and responsive, especially during acceleration. In city traffic, the bike feels light and easy to maneuver, which makes daily riding enjoyable. When you open the throttle, the bike pulls nicely and gives a thrilling riding experience. It is the kind of bike that makes short rides fun and keeps the rider engaged. Handling is another strong point of this bike. Because of its lightweight body and good chassis setup, the Duke 200 feels very stable while cornering. Riders who enjoy spirited riding or quick turns will definitely appreciate this. The braking is also confident, which adds to the overall control of the motorcycle. However, the bike also has a few downsides. One noticeable issue is the heat from the engine, especially when riding in slow traffic for a long time. Another small drawback is comfort. The suspension is slightly stiff, which is good for sporty riding but may feel uncomfortable on rough roads or during long rides. Mileage is also average compared to some other bikes in this category. Overall, the KTM Duke 200 Gen 3 (2026) is a great choice for riders who want performance, sporty looks, and an exciting riding experience. It may not be the most comfortable or fuel-efficient bike, but it definitely delivers fun and strong performance on every ride.

      This is 160 cc best bike and its performance and look is too good as compared to other 160 and 200 cc bike The breaking system is updated and batter to old 160 cc Duke. The greatest emphasis has been placed on this bike's looks and comfort, which are excellent. I have driven it for 5000 kms, but till now there has been no problem.

      I have been riding the KTM 390 Duke for a while now and the experience has been amazing. The bike feels extremely powerful and responsive, especially in city traffic and on highways. The acceleration is quick, handling is sharp, and the lightweight design makes cornering very fun. The TFT display and modern features give it a premium feel. The suspension setup is comfortable for daily rides and weekend trips. Braking performance is excellent with great confidence at high speeds. Mileage is decent considering the performance this bike offers. Service experience has also been satisfactory so far. Overall, the KTM 390 Duke is a perfect bike for riders who want aggressive looks, thrilling performance, and advanced technology in one package.
