Fairly good bike with 200cc power.....

Buying experience was fair and good, had only 1 color option on immediate availability (matt gold). The ride is quite comfortable, seat could be better and more comfortable (not so comfortable for long drives more than 1 hour or so) the suspension is really good, the bike has wonderful power and shoots itself like a rocket to gain good speed, handling is comfortable and easy, however bike engine maxes out beyond 60 kmph and reaching to 70 or 80 sounds like a lot of hard work for the engine. Looks are stylishly retro, the round headlight is quite stunning (although a slightly bigger size would have been good), due to suspension being slightly raised at the front the low beam is by default at a slight high angle, and shows more road further away than nearer path. The bike can however handle itself well on gravel and dried mud roads and can easily glide over holes and unevenness in country roads, it is not as good as its off-road sister, but it does fairly well too for itself. Also the bike has more ground clearance than the other 150-200 cc range bikes, so is comfortable for tall people (myself being 6'1) its a good bike, gives the feeling of being a bit above the others... (height wise :p)Servicing is good and affordable, does not give much trouble.

Hero showroom is fraud company don't buy it without enquiry

The worst bike and showrooms are taking extra money from me. Hero is a fraud company. They told me the final amount is Rs.1,35,000/- and I paid 50,000 advances and they told me 0% EMI charges and the remaining amount of Rs. 85,000 I have to pay for 18 months that they told to me. Without informing me they changed it to 24 months. They are taking Rs.1,40,000/- approximately instead of Rs.85,000/-Please don't take this bike they are frauds.

Buying experience was hassle free, however had worse experience. I got the bike from Phoenix Hero showroom in Hubsiguda, Hyderabad. They didn't lubricate the chain which I also failed to notice initially, due to which engine overheated, had to visit the showroom very next day to get rid of the problem. Its been more than 20 months with the xpulse 200t, firstly I would like to thank hero motorcorp for introducing such low maintenance bike. That's the only positive thing other than seating position. I am an insurance surveyor by profession, so my daily commute is more than 50+ km and occasionally use the bike for highway rides of 200+ kms. Coming to bike review, bike is very easy to handle, its very nimble, seating position is great, however engine is not smooth and one can feel vibrations in foot pegs and handle bar post 5000 rpm. Gear shifts are one more big hassle in the bike, according to hero service engineer standards its fine, but one has to struggle a lot to downshift and upshift gears in traffic. Faced issues of vehicle wobbling so had to change tyre 2 times and whole rear wheel assembly once, guess what the problem is not solved yet. Interesting part is hero service engineers are unable to find why the bike is wobbling and handle is shaking even at speeds of 20kmph. Engine noise was there from the first day of the purchase however hero engineers says its absolutely fine. What you can expect from this bike ? well its just a normal bike with good seating position and offers 40kmpl mileage. Other than that nothing positive about this bike, and forget to mention that the ABS of this bike kicks in when bike hits the speed breaker or when tyre falls into pits, which jams the front brakes.
