Earlier this month, we brought you the exclusive news about UM’s upcoming 230cc motorcycle that will debut at the 2018 Auto Expo. And now, we have the exclusive picture of this motorcycle which is called the Renegade Duty 230.
While the overall details are bit scarce at the moment, there are a few details on its 230cc motor. It is air-cooled and churns out around 18bhp. Once launched, the Renegade Duty 230 will be UM’s most affordable motorcycle. It has been launched in India to make the brand more accessible to a wider range of customers and also help the company take some sales away from the Royal Enfield Classic 350. In terms of styling, the Renegade Duty 230 doesn’t have the bulkiness and road presence of its counterparts. But thanks to the unique green paint scheme, LED DRLs and large passenger seat, the Renegade Duty 230 can turn some curious heads.
The UM Renegade Duty 230 will be launched at around Rs 1.2 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) and will be offered in two paint schemes. It will be manufactured at company’s Uttarakhand plant and will be sold through all UM showrooms.
