The Society of Automobile Manufacturers data has revealed product-wise sales numbers for two-wheeler makers in India, and the Honda Activa continued to dominate scooter sales in our market. It was also the second highest-selling two-wheeler in India after the Hero Splendor in February 2023. Here we list India's top five highest-selling Honda motorcycles and scooters in the recently concluded month.
As mentioned before, Activa continued to lead the sales chart for Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India. The company sold 1,74,503 units of the scooter during February 2023 as against 1,45,317 units in the corresponding month last year. The CB Shine was the second highest-selling product for the company during February 2023, while the Dio 110cc scooter came third on this list. While the year-on-year sales of Activa increased in February 2023, the CB Shine and Dream witnessed a substantial decline in the numbers for the same period. Do note that Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has updated its product portfolio with the launch of the new Shine 100, which aims to compete against the Hero Splendor range in our market.
