1. Buying experience
when I was planning to get this bike I had options like r15 and apache rtr 2004v . So I went to the showroom of both the tvs and yamaha . Took the test ride of both. Comfort in r15 was not as I expected it to be. On the other hand apache was comfortable but certainly not as refined as other japanese bikes. So I booked the bike without any doubt my top priority was comfort and refinement.
2. Riding experience
You can feel a bit of vibration at the higher rpm's but you know we don't need to ride on higher rpm's on the Indian roads. It's not a deal-breaker. The riding experience was smooth, refined, and gives you sufficient power to glide through the traffic.
3. Looks of this motorcycle
Looks are totally subjective and I can say I found gixxer sf 150 more eye-catchy and appealing than its rivals. Why? because it's unique in its segment you won't see people on gixxer everywhere since they are just looking for power and more torque. The headlights are mean and aggressive and yet it's comfortable to ride
4. Servicing and maintenance
In this part, I rather say it costs a bit more as compared to our own Indian brands but it's worth every penny. And maintenance is not an everyday task if you genuinely care about your vehicle then you'll eventually take care of her no doubt that. It's easy to maintain in the end.
5 . Pros :
1. It has a big muscular aggressive profile
2. Gives you mileage around 40-45 in city commuting
3. Refinement level is top-notch
4. Unique because only practical buyers buy the gixxer sf 150
5. It has a gear position indicator ( i know it's a normal thing but come on some companies still don't know how to give that)
Cons :
1. It is slightly underpowered
2. Switch quality needs improvement
3. Gears are pretty hard and clutch too I don't know if it's only my unit but it feels hard wasn't expecting that from suzuki need a big upgrade on that
4. Faced some rusting issues in the inner parts after driving 5000 km
Conclusion:
if you are looking for a practical 150cc bike that is fully faired gives you a vibe of a faired motorcycle and needs the smoothness of Japanese engine then this one is for you. Just keep in mind the points that I've mentioned in my review. Thank you, ride safe

I purchased this bike 8 months ago. Also loved full-faired bikes. The buying experience was also great the company guys helped me a lot. It's a great eye-catching bike. I have black color. It attracts more attention than R15 or Rs200. The bike definitely gives a big bike feel and the riding dynamics are also awesome I love my daily commute going to college and other places. The bike stability gives you confidence at higher speeds. The performance of the bike is also very good it has a great pickup, the engine Suzuki is super smooth and reliable so no problem in the performance sector there. Although power can be increased considering the other bikes of the same range. The service and maintenance cost is also not very much. It's reasonable. And cheap than R15 or Ktm I think. Gixxer SF is a great bike for daily commutes if you are a college student and want a fun and comfortable bike. Cheapest full faired bike in its range. Cause other bikes are exceeding 2 lakhs price. I have not faced any issues yet. But keep the bike regularly serviced to ensure smooth performance. It should also have dual channel Abs, a Slipper clutch, and LED indicator. Rest all is good.
