    Rc is definitely famous for it superb looks, as we know ktm works upon quality so thus the maintenance is quite a bit up the price but we are happy with its performances. The start of the chapter the buying experience was full of excitement as the moment they landed me the key it's a dream come true with those rev and most importantly the riding posture is aggressive that's what makes us focus on our ride.

    Ktm is a premium brand. So if you have enough money to buy please go for it because of its look.I give this bike 100 out of 100 looks wise.This is the bike which gives you best power in all 200 cc segment bikes. But this bike needs dual channel abs and slipper clutch.I missed it so much. But this bike is not a proper machine because of missing abs(dual channel) & slipper clutch. And also it have lower high speed than r15 v3 which have 150 cc engine. But this bike is really very handsome and really good for stunt riders and college going students.You can easily spot this bike for its premium quality orange colour. But this bike is high priced. I think ktm should give us all think in this bike like abs and slipper clutch because of its price. Other wise ktm is ktm. Its a premium bike. And also there is another level of happiness to ride ktm. And it's aggressive riding posture & aggressive looks can bit any other 200cc bikes.

    Because this is a sports bike so every rider need to loop their chain twice in every month if you riding your bike daily. Always try to avoid off roads. Clean your bike once in every week but don't use soap water use normal water because soap water can fade your bikes colour. Try to avoid more than one pelion. Always clean abs ring if you own abs version. Always go to the good petrol pump because many fraud petrol pumps mixed water with petrol which can affects your engine. Always take your bike to the service center time to time. And don't stand your bike under the sun. Avoid pothole when your speed more than 60 km.

    Yah, i am thankful my parents first for buying me such a supper and sexy bike really i loved it very much it is my small baby..!till now even till now there wont be a single scratch on my baby... The shape which is designed for ktm rc200 is awesome really the feeling when everyone sits on it we all get that energy ... Service was really good and they also cares bike like their owns and repair them perfectly ... and at last i really loved the ktm rc 200 and i am in a ktm family.

    A good bike !! v can show r pride over others a lot with this bike ..... But it gets heats a lot after a long ride .....It drinks more litres of petrol but anyway a good perfect lovable baby to take out !! the main thing about this bike is that it get annoying while driving in traffic conditions .....

    Starting with the looks the motorcycle looks drop dead gorgeous , orange frame and wheels go so well with the matte black all around(i own 2016 model). Head lamp housing may seem peculiar at first but it grows on you(wrapping over the visor helps a great deal) and the tail section is by far one of the best i have seen on an Indian motorcycle. Led indicators are 'oh so beautiful' and front ones are neatly integrated with mirrors. Instrument cluster hosts plethora of info, i only wish it was bigger in size nevertheless it does it's job clean and crisp.

    Coming to ride and handling, i would say this is the forte of the motorcycle, the trellis frame, the shorter wheelbase and front biased weight distribution all aid for a superb handling package. Riding ergonomics are sporty i'm sorry extremely sporty?? but this aids for handling and one will get used to the riding posture after say a month or so. Having said that 5 feet 5 inches tall and below would feel too hunched over to the bars and in that sense i wouldn't recommend for riders below the aforementioned. Pillion seat is well cushioned(even more than rider seat ) but only con is the seat being so up high so i wouldn't recommend long stints with pillion but within the city limits it's a thumbs up for pillion. Continuing with the handling aspect one can actually do a knee down on this without scraping the belly pan or fairing and if you are into cornering and call yourself a cornering junkie then this bike will be your best bet.

    Performance: the motorcycle excels here as well. The torque is spread throughout the rev range and the motor feels frantic to hit the red line every-time you pin the throttle. Gearing is on a shorter side so we quickly move up the gears which adds to the frantic nature of the bike. There is ample power for the overtaking manoeuvres and brakes are potent too. The stock mrf tyres are good but require a bit warming up to do to get complete grip out of them. Coming back to engine there is an electronically set speed limiter at 137kmph but that aids for engine life in a long run and practically speaking we hardly touch that speed even when going for leisure rides, unless it's a long straight stretch which is difficult to find in Indian roads.

    So to sum up the motorcycle is jaw dropping good looking, comes equipped with top notch hardware (upside down forks, aluminium swing arm, radial brakes etc) and handles like a dream thanks to ride ergonomics. And engine is a screamer, the power delivery and shorter gearing adds up to fun motorcycle. I don't find much cons in the motorcycle but if i really have to nitpick i would say tires lack grip and rear locks up under hard braking and rider seat is a stone (can add few layers of foam to make it 'usable') and that's it for the cons. This is one awesome motorcycle and i like the ktm ethos they haven't just flapped a fairing on duke and called it a sport bike but instead they have made one.

    Buying experience is not good at all. The showroom could not even provide the ktm caring.

    Riding experience is good but only at a good speed of above 45-50kmph. Riding this one lower gears is painful and this becomes more hectic in traffic with a pillion rider.

    Looks wise i would give it a 5 star because it's really a catchy one. Performance wise it's also very nice except the tyres and braking system. I don't understand why they don't provide the same tyre as rc390.

    Service center is not bad but sometimes they will change some parts without even notifying you earlier. Ktm manual says the engine oil capacity is 1.4l and they will give you the oil from a 1.5l motul (which i have never ever seen online or in any shop, the bottle comes in multiply of 1l). And still they will fill only 1.3l from that bottle. I don't understand why the less 100ml.

    I'm not telling anything about pros as you will find so many things about pros on internet but one main con is the heating of the engine and for this heating issue only they will put 20w50 motul (more dense engine oil). The tyres should have been better and ktm should have given abs as an option on rc200.

    I purchased this all new ktm rc 200 2017 version on the auspicious occasion of laxmi poojan [19/10/2017].

    My buying experience was pretty good when i went to get the bike. Delivery was super fast.

    About my riding experience i have completed around 1800 km. On this bike.

    Bike looks stunning and it is powerful too.

    Now, coming back to pros and cons:

    Pros:-

    1] it runs like it has beast's power.

    2] it's looks are pretty impressive.

    3] it sounds very nice. When ktm passes by everyone looks at it. And i personally love it.

    4] well balanced.

    Cons:-

    1] your pillion will not feel secured at the time of driving. Because seat is too high and there is nothing which you can hold to balance yourself.

    2] one will definitely have back and palm ache after driving in traffic.

    1.When i bought this bike rc 200 i got a huge discount ...For that i was very happy 2.It gave me a smooth ride ..The engine is very good or i would say excellent 3.Sports looking bike ,sexy ,fine quality 4.I maintain my bike very nicely and it doesn't need much maintenance 5.This is fine i didn't find any cons in it.

    1. Buying experience was good. I got good offer.
    2. Riding experience was initially painful for joints due to its riding posture but after few days it's become a habit. I had also travel 160 kms in a day.
    3. I purchased this vehicle for it's looks. So no questions on looks. I feel initial pickup is best in its segment but lacks in higher end.
    4. Maintaining & servicing is easier for me. For normal free service cost up to rs. 1500, for paid one cost in between rs. 1500-2500.
    5. Pros- best looks, best handling, easy to maintain, best performance, light in weight & many more.
    Cons- vibration foot pegs in higher rpm, engine get heat in traffic.

    I purchased this all new ktm rc 200 2017 version on the auspicious occasion of laxmi poojan [19/10/2017].

    My buying experience was pretty good when i went to get the bike. Delivery was super fast.

    About my riding experience i have completed around 1800 km. On this bike.

    Bike looks stunning and it is powerful too.

    Now, coming back to pros and cons:

    Pros:-

    1] it runs like it has beast's power.

    2] it's looks are pretty impressive.

    3] it sounds very nice. When ktm passes by everyone looks at it. And i personally love it.

    4] well balanced.

    Cons:-

    1] your pillion will not feel secured at the time of driving. Because seat is too high and there is nothing which you can hold to balance yourself.

    2] one will definitely have back and palm ache after driving in traffic.

    1.When i bought this bike rc 200 i got a huge discount ...For that i was very happy 2.It gave me a smooth ride ..The engine is very good or i would say excellent 3.Sports looking bike ,sexy ,fine quality 4.I maintain my bike very nicely and it doesn't need much maintenance 5.This is fine i didn't find any cons in it.

    1. Buying experience was good. I got good offer.
    2. Riding experience was initially painful for joints due to its riding posture but after few days it's become a habit. I had also travel 160 kms in a day.
    3. I purchased this vehicle for it's looks. So no questions on looks. I feel initial pickup is best in its segment but lacks in higher end.
    4. Maintaining & servicing is easier for me. For normal free service cost up to rs. 1500, for paid one cost in between rs. 1500-2500.
    5. Pros- best looks, best handling, easy to maintain, best performance, light in weight & many more.
    Cons- vibration foot pegs in higher rpm, engine get heat in traffic.

    Rc is definitely famous for it superb looks, as we know ktm works upon quality so thus the maintenance is quite a bit up the price but we are happy with its performances. The start of the chapter the buying experience was full of excitement as the moment they landed me the key it's a dream come true with those rev and most importantly the riding posture is aggressive that's what makes us focus on our ride.

    Ktm is a premium brand. So if you have enough money to buy please go for it because of its look.I give this bike 100 out of 100 looks wise.This is the bike which gives you best power in all 200 cc segment bikes. But this bike needs dual channel abs and slipper clutch.I missed it so much. But this bike is not a proper machine because of missing abs(dual channel) & slipper clutch. And also it have lower high speed than r15 v3 which have 150 cc engine. But this bike is really very handsome and really good for stunt riders and college going students.You can easily spot this bike for its premium quality orange colour. But this bike is high priced. I think ktm should give us all think in this bike like abs and slipper clutch because of its price. Other wise ktm is ktm. Its a premium bike. And also there is another level of happiness to ride ktm. And it's aggressive riding posture & aggressive looks can bit any other 200cc bikes.

    Because this is a sports bike so every rider need to loop their chain twice in every month if you riding your bike daily. Always try to avoid off roads. Clean your bike once in every week but don't use soap water use normal water because soap water can fade your bikes colour. Try to avoid more than one pelion. Always clean abs ring if you own abs version. Always go to the good petrol pump because many fraud petrol pumps mixed water with petrol which can affects your engine. Always take your bike to the service center time to time. And don't stand your bike under the sun. Avoid pothole when your speed more than 60 km.

    Starting with the looks the motorcycle looks drop dead gorgeous , orange frame and wheels go so well with the matte black all around(i own 2016 model). Head lamp housing may seem peculiar at first but it grows on you(wrapping over the visor helps a great deal) and the tail section is by far one of the best i have seen on an Indian motorcycle. Led indicators are 'oh so beautiful' and front ones are neatly integrated with mirrors. Instrument cluster hosts plethora of info, i only wish it was bigger in size nevertheless it does it's job clean and crisp.

    Coming to ride and handling, i would say this is the forte of the motorcycle, the trellis frame, the shorter wheelbase and front biased weight distribution all aid for a superb handling package. Riding ergonomics are sporty i'm sorry extremely sporty?? but this aids for handling and one will get used to the riding posture after say a month or so. Having said that 5 feet 5 inches tall and below would feel too hunched over to the bars and in that sense i wouldn't recommend for riders below the aforementioned. Pillion seat is well cushioned(even more than rider seat ) but only con is the seat being so up high so i wouldn't recommend long stints with pillion but within the city limits it's a thumbs up for pillion. Continuing with the handling aspect one can actually do a knee down on this without scraping the belly pan or fairing and if you are into cornering and call yourself a cornering junkie then this bike will be your best bet.

    Performance: the motorcycle excels here as well. The torque is spread throughout the rev range and the motor feels frantic to hit the red line every-time you pin the throttle. Gearing is on a shorter side so we quickly move up the gears which adds to the frantic nature of the bike. There is ample power for the overtaking manoeuvres and brakes are potent too. The stock mrf tyres are good but require a bit warming up to do to get complete grip out of them. Coming back to engine there is an electronically set speed limiter at 137kmph but that aids for engine life in a long run and practically speaking we hardly touch that speed even when going for leisure rides, unless it's a long straight stretch which is difficult to find in Indian roads.

    So to sum up the motorcycle is jaw dropping good looking, comes equipped with top notch hardware (upside down forks, aluminium swing arm, radial brakes etc) and handles like a dream thanks to ride ergonomics. And engine is a screamer, the power delivery and shorter gearing adds up to fun motorcycle. I don't find much cons in the motorcycle but if i really have to nitpick i would say tires lack grip and rear locks up under hard braking and rider seat is a stone (can add few layers of foam to make it 'usable') and that's it for the cons. This is one awesome motorcycle and i like the ktm ethos they haven't just flapped a fairing on duke and called it a sport bike but instead they have made one.

    Buying experience is not good at all. The showroom could not even provide the ktm caring.

    Riding experience is good but only at a good speed of above 45-50kmph. Riding this one lower gears is painful and this becomes more hectic in traffic with a pillion rider.

    Looks wise i would give it a 5 star because it's really a catchy one. Performance wise it's also very nice except the tyres and braking system. I don't understand why they don't provide the same tyre as rc390.

    Service center is not bad but sometimes they will change some parts without even notifying you earlier. Ktm manual says the engine oil capacity is 1.4l and they will give you the oil from a 1.5l motul (which i have never ever seen online or in any shop, the bottle comes in multiply of 1l). And still they will fill only 1.3l from that bottle. I don't understand why the less 100ml.

    I'm not telling anything about pros as you will find so many things about pros on internet but one main con is the heating of the engine and for this heating issue only they will put 20w50 motul (more dense engine oil). The tyres should have been better and ktm should have given abs as an option on rc200.

    Buying experience is not good at all. The showroom could not even provide the ktm caring.

    Riding experience is good but only at a good speed of above 45-50kmph. Riding this one lower gears is painful and this becomes more hectic in traffic with a pillion rider.

    Looks wise i would give it a 5 star because it's really a catchy one. Performance wise it's also very nice except the tyres and braking system. I don't understand why they don't provide the same tyre as rc390.

    Service center is not bad but sometimes they will change some parts without even notifying you earlier. Ktm manual says the engine oil capacity is 1.4l and they will give you the oil from a 1.5l motul (which i have never ever seen online or in any shop, the bottle comes in multiply of 1l). And still they will fill only 1.3l from that bottle. I don't understand why the less 100ml.

    I'm not telling anything about pros as you will find so many things about pros on internet but one main con is the heating of the engine and for this heating issue only they will put 20w50 motul (more dense engine oil). The tyres should have been better and ktm should have given abs as an option on rc200.

    Always fill 1.4L of engine oil and always try to lubricate the chain after every 600-700km.

  • Ktm rc200 first ride review

    I purchased this all new ktm rc 200 2017 version on the auspicious occasion of laxmi poojan [19/10/2017].

    My buying experience was pretty good when i went to get the bike. Delivery was super fast.

    About my riding experience i have completed around 1800 km. On this bike.

    Bike looks stunning and it is powerful too.

    Now, coming back to pros and cons:

    Pros:-

    1] it runs like it has beast's power.

    2] it's looks are pretty impressive.

    3] it sounds very nice. When ktm passes by everyone looks at it. And i personally love it.

    4] well balanced.

    Cons:-

    1] your pillion will not feel secured at the time of driving. Because seat is too high and there is nothing which you can hold to balance yourself.

    2] one will definitely have back and palm ache after driving in traffic.

    1.When i bought this bike rc 200 i got a huge discount ...For that i was very happy 2.It gave me a smooth ride ..The engine is very good or i would say excellent 3.Sports looking bike ,sexy ,fine quality 4.I maintain my bike very nicely and it doesn't need much maintenance 5.This is fine i didn't find any cons in it.

    1. Buying experience was good. I got good offer.
    2. Riding experience was initially painful for joints due to its riding posture but after few days it's become a habit. I had also travel 160 kms in a day.
    3. I purchased this vehicle for it's looks. So no questions on looks. I feel initial pickup is best in its segment but lacks in higher end.
    4. Maintaining & servicing is easier for me. For normal free service cost up to rs. 1500, for paid one cost in between rs. 1500-2500.
    5. Pros- best looks, best handling, easy to maintain, best performance, light in weight & many more.
    Cons- vibration foot pegs in higher rpm, engine get heat in traffic.
