Don't go for this bike....It's been only a month & problem begins.Some time petrol meter doesn't show any bar even after having sufficient oil in tank. Vibration started in handle bar and on approaching service center, they said it is common in this bike. Tvs apache 160...

Vibration started in handle bar and on approaching service center, they said it is common in this bike. Tvs apache 160 rtr is much better option in this segment.

1 i fill petrol only in shell. I have tried other fuels too but it reduced my mileage to 38-40km and the engine was also not smooth
2 used clean the chain for every 500kms and lube it
3 used maintain the tyre pressure
4 try not to cross 60kmph till your 2 services is done.

I just bought a pulsar ns 160 ten days ago and in the first day only i filled the tank upto it's full but surprisingly it didn't lasted for more than 6 days so i filled the tank with 1 litre petrol and i got the mileage of 19 that was truly depressing, i thought the reason was my high reving the bike and pushing the throttle hard another time i filled the tank with 1 litre and again started riding it to check its mileage but this time with normal riding like accelerating as per the road and traffic condition and using the velocity producing by the bike judiciously and really the mileage i got was truly surprising i got 38 kmpl of mileage and now please let me tell you that all i told you is before the first servicing so after that i think i may get upto 43 kmpl and one thing i also want to tell you apart from the mileage that it has one of the greatest visual appeal.
