RTR 160 2V RM BTInitially, when I visited the showroom to buy this bike, the executives didn't tell me the features of the bike properly. Thanks to the Bikewale website. I got better info about the bike here. Then I received a bike after 1 week of booking. When I took my bike for the first ride, I went for 65 kms in a single stretch. I didn't change the riding modes. I rode it in Urban mode, max speed 60kmphr, until 1st service. Then I was surprised that I got a mileage of 62Kmpl! After the 1st service, I rode it in Sports mode at 70 - 90Kmph. Not bad that I got mileage of 52kmpl. But after the 1st service, bike pick-up has decreased a bit. Then after 2600 Km, I left my bike for 2nd service. After that, I took it for 80-90 km in a single stretch. Riding is smoother in Sports mode than the other 2 modes. But I can experience vibration at of bike handle at above 100Kmph speed. Back pain is common in this! The look of this bike is crazy. Very aggressive. But the quality of some parts is poor. Front forks & mudguard has to be improved. Overall performance of this bike is Awesome. Free service costs are a bit high! 1st service(660km)- 1220 Rs2nd service(2000km)- 1275 RsThis bike is a classic option for middle-class boys. Great mileage. Superb performance. Aggressive look. Budget-friendly.

Tips for other riders
Clean the chain regularly. Lube it. Can get better mileage in future if you ride the bike under 55kmph before 1st service.

A FRIEND FOR 'ROUGH AND TOUGH' USERS

I am a highway engineer using the bike for at least 150km per day. I ride my Apache RTR 160 from 2017. I crossed 125,000 km on this bike. Friendly engine for rough and tough usage. Sporty riding style makes a more attractive look for the riders. I learned stunts with this bike. Pick up is like 'ANGRY TIGER'. Its shape resembles the TVS emblem.

Reality review of rtr 160
Harish Ram
At first, i was really excited to buy this bike as it had been a dream for more than 6 years. My riding experience with this bike is good but when you cross 80+ it starts to vibrate slightly. The drl which looks like an angry eye of a predator and the muscular body design looks pretty good but according to the performance, i had touched 124kmph with this bike it delivers a mileage of 40 - 45km/l which is quite enough for me. The first five services cost approx. of 300 rs each and the maintenance cost is pretty low on this bike. The instrument cluster provides all the basic needs except the gear position indicator and it's an analog-digital console. Now let's talk about the pros of this bike:-(performance) - the bike is extremely responsive to the throttle inputs and will definitely satisfy most of the hardcore riders.(build quality) - the tvs apache rtr 160 boasts commendable built quality and ages really well over time. The plastics used are of good quality and so are other critical mechanical components. In all, the overall built quality of the tvs apache 160 is better than most of its rivals.(parts replacement) - the parts are not very expensive to replace and their availability is not a major concern.(practical urban performance commuter) - the rtr 160 has a compact footprint, scores high in overall agility, and offers a decent fuel economy. All this, clubbed together, makes it a practical and a good choice for those who are looking for a performance-packed bike for the urban commute.Cons:-(not a tvs engine) - the engine of apache is the engine of suzuki fiero a (Japanese)motorcycle launched in the year 2000.(engine refinement) - the fuel-injected engine powering the rtr 160 is extremely powerful and responsive, giving the bike some incredible performance. However, this motor lacks the refinement and smoothness levels and does tend to vibrate a lot when pushed hard.(brakes) - while the overall performance is great, the brakes on the other hand feel very spongy and lack the feel and feedback levels that a rider would expect. The braking performance is decent but the feel-feedback offered from the brakes should have been better.According to my suggestion, you can also compare this motorcycle with its new generation the apache rtr 160 4v which offers a fully digital instrument cluster and a four-valve engine that produce 17.63 ps of power and 14.73 nm of torque this bike can cross 135+ when accelerated furiously the price of this bike is approximately 5000 - 7000 rs higher than apache 160 2v. The apache 160 4v has an oil-cooled engine while the apache 160 has an air-cooled engine while the apache 160 2v gives a mileage of 2 to 5 km/l more than apache rtr 160 4vBut both these bikes don't suit taller riders. The design of 160 4v is as same as the design of apache 200 4v on the other hand the 160 4v had an led setup and an led drl at the head while the 160 2v had a halogen setup with led drl at the front.Hope you guys this review had helped youThank you
