RE has been lacking in a few things as standard and even though they raised the prices of bikes in the market and were the leaders in doing so, they did not provide a few basic and important things on bikes. For example, most of their bikes do not come with an RPM meter, and many bikes like classic 350 do not come with a fuel gauge, i am not high about all modern techs as I think a retro bike should feel core retro, and since RE has taken over the badge of being market leader on retro bikes they should know that a single speedometer is a turn-off, just like how they have meter on interceptor, that's how a classic bike should have gauges. These bikes are low on mileage a fuel gauge is a very important thing. They also use the same engine on all bikes with a few tweaks here and there, this shows they are working more on selling than looks of a bike. I consider the current cylinder to be bulky looking for many bikes. the round shape fits well on Supermeteor 650, shotgun etc and it somehow compliments classic bikes too, but if you are building a bike like Hunter 350 I would have loved to see the cylinders being square shaped and not at a 90-degree angle. something how RD350 is designed and the looks are still to die for. No doubt RE is making some good bikes, but if a customer is spending so much money on Indian-made bikes, we would expect it to have more features and all retro-styled gauges on bikes please make fuel gauge and RPM meter standard on all bikes.

Hunter 350

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has garnered positive reviews for its city-friendly design and accessible pricing. Here are some key insights:Design and Build Quality: The Hunter 350 boasts an appealing design with excellent fit-and-finish. It features a well-sculpted tank, modern graphics, and a compact exhaust, giving it a contemporary look while retaining classic elements like round lighting and analog-style speedo (Ultimate Motorcycling).Performance and Handling: Powered by a 349cc engine delivering 20 horsepower, the Hunter 350 offers smooth and manageable power delivery suitable for urban commuting. Its handling is particularly praised for city riding, aided by its lightweight and responsive chassis. However, it's not as spirited on highways or twisty roads due to its modest power and braking setup, with the rear brake providing more confidence than the front (Ultimate Motorcycling) (BikeWale).Comfort and Ergonomics: The seating position and switchgear are designed for comfort during urban rides. While the seat and rear suspension are adequate for short trips, they can become uncomfortable on longer journeys, making the bike less ideal for touring without modifications (Ultimate Motorcycling) (BikeWale).Features and Equipment: The Hunter 350 includes essential features such as dual-channel ABS and simple, intuitive controls. Its fuel efficiency, around 31.3 km/l, makes it an economical choice for daily commuting (BikeWale).Value for Money: At around $3,999, the Hunter 350 is seen as a great value, offering a stylish and enjoyable ride for new and experienced riders alike (Ultimate Motorcycling).Overall, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is highly regarded for its city performance, stylish design, and affordability, though it might require some upgrades for those looking to use it for longer tours.
