The Zontes 350T ADV and the 350T have arrived in the Indian market to rival the likes of the KTM 390 Adventure and BMW G 310 GS. We recently rode the ADV variant of the motorcycle for first impressions. Here we bring you the best images from the first ride review of the Zontes 350T adventure tourer.
The new Zontes 350T packs a futuristic design that comprises a semi fairing, quad-projector LED headlight with LED DRLs on either side, an electrically-adjustable windscreen, knuckle guards, front beak, luggage rack, and a crash guard.
The build quality is acceptable, and the panels felt sturdy during the brief time we had with the motorcycle for the first ride review. The switchgear, too, felt decent and had a tactile feel.
The modern design of 350T is complemented by a comprehensive feature list that comprises full-LED lighting, full keyless control system (ignition, fuel tank, and seat operations), tyre pressure monitoring system, and a five-inch colour LCD instrument cluster.
The motorcycle is available in two variants – 350T and 350T ADV. The ADV version comes with cross-spoke wheels while the standard version gets alloy wheels. Both variants ride on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear combination.
The suspension duties are handled by 43mm USD front forks and a preload-adjustable mono-shock. Further, the braking setup includes a 320mm front disc and a 265mm rear rotor, while the safety net comprises dual-channel ABS.
The mechanical specifications are identical across the Zontes 350 series. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the 348cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor makes 38bhp at 9,500rpm and 32Nm at 7,500rpm.
As observed in the first ride review, the motor lacks the bottom-end grunt. However, there’s a healthy build-up of pace in the mid-range.
