UM Motorcycles has introduced 24x7 road side assistance programme for its customers. This programme will cover the Renegade Commando and the Renegade Sport S customers from January 1, 2017.
The company will cover products that will launch in the future as well. UM will provide assistance in case of accidents, battery problems, loss of keys, punctures and bolts or valve-related issues. If the covered vehicle runs out of fuel or is running on contaminated fuel, the customers can call the RSA representative at the toll-free number (18001021942) and the customer will be provided with 1 litre of fuel for free. However, this assistance will be provided only once during the entire coverage period. Also, this coverage is applicable for bikes that are around 50km from specific cities. The customers don’t have to pay for this 24x7 road side assistance separately; the cost is included in the bike’s purchase cost. In case of mechanical failure, the bike will be towed to the nearest service station.
It’s good to see UM Motorcycles offering RSA services to its customers. Currently, the company is in its second phase of expansion. It started its operations in India with showrooms in the metro and tier I cities. Now the company is in the process of opening multiple dealerships in the same cities to cater to a wider customer base. Launching new products like the Renegade Classic will help the company increase its foothold in the fastest growing two-wheeler market in the world.
