Triumph renews Moto2 engine supply contract

- Triumph will supply 765cc engine for three more seasons

- This motor produces 17 per cent more power

Triumph Motorcycles will continue to supply its famous 765cc inline triple engine to FIM Moto2 World Championship for another three seasons.

This motor churns out 17 per cent more power than the one on the Street Triple RS. This has been done to deliver a peak output and take things closer to the MotoGP level. The company claims that a lot of records have been broken using this motor. The 301.8kmph record stands at Philip Island, Australia. A total of 34 records have been broken as per Triumph.

Luckily, Triumph sells the Street Triple RS in India and it is one of the finest motorcycles we have ever ridden ever. The combination of an excellent engine, agile chassis and lots of electronics makes it one easy and comfortable street naked. But take it on a race track and it will changes its nature to become sportier instantly.
