Suzuki Motorcycle India has announced its sales data for August 2022. The manufacturer sold a total of 79,559 units as compared to 73,463 units in the same month last year, witnessing an 8.3 per cent growth.
Out of this number, Suzuki sold 64,654 motorcycles and scooters in the domestic market last month; an increase from the 61,809 units it sold in August 2021. That said, it also registered an increase in export sales for August 2022 with a sale of 14,905 units overseas. For reference, Suzuki exported close to 12,000 units in the same period in 2021.
While the sales have picked up over the past few months, we can expect an increase in domestic sales during the upcoming festive season across the country.
